Senator @ChrisMurphyCT, You have told the public that you were briefed on the plan to resume attacks on Iran, that you cannot share its details, and that "the plan is insane." You have said it will escalate the war, break international law and destroy America's commitment to the rule of law. Knowledge of that kind carries obligations. Public reporting points to what the plan holds. Israeli sources told ABC News the next strikes would target petrochemical facilities to erode Iran's economy. CNN reports US forces could strike within 96 hours of an order. In April your president promised that every bridge in Iran would be "decimated" and every power plant left "burning, exploding and never to be used again," and said he was "not worried" about war-crimes charges. You called that threat "a clear war crime." In July he told Fox News the United States would "knock out" all of Iran's power plants and bridges unless Tehran negotiated. The stated purpose was never military advantage but coercion: punish the population until its government yields. The UN called such attacks a very clear violation of international law. If the briefing showed the same intent, you are among the few Americans who "officially" know a war crime is being prepared. Secrecy does not bind you to silence about it. Executive Order 13526 forbids using classification to conceal violations of law; a stamp cannot convert complicity into a duty. The Speech or Debate Clause protects what you say in the Senate, as the Supreme Court confirmed in Gravel v. United States after Senator Gravel read the Pentagon Papers into the record. Senate Resolution 400 provides for disclosure over executive objection. Your oath runs to a Constitution that makes the Geneva Conventions the supreme law of the land, and their Common Article 1 requires every organ of the United States to ensure respect for them, the Senate included. The same duty reaches the chain of command. You said military leaders gave no sign of their private views. Make them state those views on the record: demand that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and the CENTCOM commander say, in open session, whether each target passes the military-objective test. Remind them that a source of revenue is not a military objective, and that the "war-sustaining economy" theory behind such targeting is rejected by the ICRC and most states. Tell every service member that the UCMJ requires obedience only to lawful orders, that superior orders are no defense to a manifestly unlawful one, and that the War Crimes Act follows them for life. History will not ask whether the plan was classified. It will ask who knew, and what they did.
Trump is reportedly planning to restart war with Iran after the election. Some of us have been briefed on the war plan. And while I cannot disclose any details, I can say this: the plan is insane. It will not achieve objectives and will set off a new cycle of escalation.

Senator @ChrisMurphyCT reveals that war plan briefings by the administration show that Trump and Israel are planning an extreme escalation to win the war of choice wth Iran. Murphy calls the plan "insane." Not only will it fail, but it will also lead to "the likely destruction of our commitment to the rule of law." What Sen. Murphy says here is that Trump and Israel are planning a military campaign that violates every rule of war, including every American law regarding the conduct of war. It is not a war plan; it's a war crimes plan.

Imagine if a sitting Republican senator said voters should reject Jon Ossoff or Josh Shapiro because they reject Jesus. That would be a big story. This won't be because Islamophobia from powerful Republicans is simply the norm. It's why there's no comparison between the level of Islamophobia and the level of antisemitism in America today. Only one is actively promoted by the state. peterbeinart.substack.com/p/โ€ฆ
Moreno says El-Sayed canโ€™t be a senator because he doesnโ€™t understand that Jesus came here for our salvation.

An Israeli actress was being interviewed but thought they were on commercial break so she started telling the truth about Israel only to find out afterwards they were live on air: โ€œIโ€™m no longer proud to be Israeli. Itโ€™s a terrible feeling. Iโ€™m ashamed of who we are as a peopleโ€ฆEverything that is happening now is a result of the occupation: The religious coercion, the settler violence, the Jewish terrorism, and the arrogance. The minority [the Palestinians] have a right to fight for their freedom.โ€

Kentucky residents played a loud recording of the noise pollution from data centers to show its disruptive impact. Within seconds, county officials grew irritated and told them to โ€œact like adultsโ€ and turn it off. The corrupt politicians who vote for and push these data centers onto our communities couldnโ€™t handle the piercing sound for a few seconds, yet expect residents to live with it every day. Welcome to the USA, where politicians prioritize the bottom line of the corporations and billionaires that fund their campaigns over the needs of our people and communities.

Never forget how AOC relentlessly smeared the only anti-genocide presidential candidate. AOC endorsed the pro-genocide candidate, Kamala Harris, and smeared Stein.

I saw the video where the cops rammed her and crowd back with a bike. Another cop pulled Jill's legs forward under the bike, causing her to fall. She fell hard on the back of her head. Sad we are so divided, we can't show solidarity on issues we supposedly have in common

Democrats are not even speaking out in defense of Ilhan Omar, who Trump is trying to strip of her citizenship and deport. So it tracks that they arenโ€™t saying shit about Dr. Jill Stein, either. Democrats are the friendly face of fascism.

For all the shitlibs who claim Jill Stein doesnโ€™t do anything for 4 years, this is what she has been doing Protesting the genocide that your party is complicit with and facing retaliation by the Trump regime as result Notice how liberals are more than happy to stay silent as the real left are targeted by fascists!?

Dr. Jill Stein is facing fascist retaliation by the Trump regime for protesting against Israeli genocide. She faces 18 months in prison after being violently arrested by the state for opposing Israel Where are the โ€œleftโ€ voices standing with her? Where is Bernie Sanders? Zohran Mamdani? AOC and the DSA? Are they truly going to stay quiet and refuse solidarity with victims of fascism simply because they are not a Democrat!? This is terrifying signs of things to come

All I'm saying is that if you had a tribe of say 100 people, and 10 of those people hoarded 90% of all the tribes resources while half the tribe starved, the rest of the tribe would eventually run those 10 people out of the tribe.

Twelve former US officials who resigned over Gaza are calling on 2028 presidential candidates to pledge not to hire Biden administration officials who were "architects" of its support for Israel's genocide in Gaza. The pledge asks candidates to: โžค Acknowledge US "complicity" in the genocide through arms, funding and diplomatic support โžค Bar any past or present political appointee who was "an architect, leader, defender, or key enabler" of that policy Signatories, including former State Department officials Josh Paul and Annelle Sheline, say those officials are "white-washing their own roles" and seeking "a path back into the halls of power."
"US officials take an oath... When they break that oath... we need to hold them accountable. No one is more aware of this oath than we, who resigned from our service to the US government over its illegal support for Israelโ€™s actions in Gaza." See our statement & coverage โฌ‡๏ธ

I need El-Sayed to win, not because I think dems are going to do a single meaningful thing with a senate majority (they wonโ€™t) but because I do not want anything to validate the idea that Muslims and Arabs cannot hold high office, or that going against Israel is unpopular and even bigoted. The absolute worst people on earth have spent months in both parties ginning up racialized hysteria in order to protect a genocidal rape colony and they deserve to be roundly rejected and humiliated as often as possible.

This video is completely insane. Israeli state terrorism knows no boundaries.
๐Ÿšจ TODAY: Settler-terrorists attacked Andrey, Jasper and me. This video shows the assault. Andrey was severely beaten and lost consciousness several times in front of police. Despite this, he was denied hospital treatment. He was put in an ambulanceโ€”but instead of being taken to hospital, he was taken to a police station. He is still there, arrested and being denied medical care. Jasper and I were also beaten. Jasper was then pepper-sprayed and arrested.

Here is a question they will never ask on the evening news: If American-style capitalism is so self-evidently superior that it wins any free competition... Why does it require sanctions, coups, trade wars, regime change, military bases, and the systematic destruction of any country that tries something different in order to prove its superiority? A system confident in its own merits does not need to eliminate the competition. It wins the competition. The effort required to prevent alternatives from functioning is itself the most honest testimony available about how the comparison would actually turn out if the competition were allowed to be free. They know what an undisturbed Cuba might look like after 66 years. That is precisely why Cuba has not been left undisturbed.

As weโ€™re doing nuclear threat discourse again: just remember, Israel has the worldโ€™s largest per capita nuclear stockpile, has never signed a non-proliferation treaty, has never been inspected by IAEA โ€” and their nukes are controlled by a government committing genocide.
