Canton is growing! 🫡👨‍💻
Canton Project Update 1. @temple_ny settled $764.5M in spot trades on Canton in October, up 91% from September. 2. Lending yields on @AlpendHQ were 17.13% APY for USDCx and 17.48% for USDXLR. 3. More than 15,000 people have joined the waitlist for @onepumpcc’s memecoin launchpad. Earning Diamonds moves you up the queue. 4. Grofty Lens is on Google Play. The app from @grofty_labs lets Android users compare token prices and see how much liquidity each Canton market has. 5. @Oneswapcc added a market for trading Ember’s silver token, eXAG, against USDXLR. One swap of $10 or more each day keeps your streak going and earns you more Diamonds at 7, 10 and 15 days. 6. @cancore_io raised $7.2M to expand trading between Canton and other blockchains. The team plans to support more assets and make them easier to trade across networks. 7. @C8Wallet added limit orders for CC. You can set the most you’ll pay to buy or the least you’ll accept to sell. 8. Spot trading is live on @Rocky_exchange. One of its markets is eXAU, Ember’s gold token. Rocky plans to add futures next. 9. TSV plans to use @tradecraftfi’s protocol for trading tokenized Canton Strategic Holdings shares. Trading could begin as early as November 2. 10. The @confluo_dex bridge lets users move assets into Canton from ten other networks. 11. @ibexmarket launched perpetual futures for CC, Bitcoin and Ether on Canton. These contracts let traders take a position on the price without an expiry date. 12. CBTC, the Bitcoin token from @BitSafe_Finance, is trading on Rocky. Payvol also plans to support payments with CBTC and BETH, BitSafe’s Ether token. 13. @Pegaroute introduced a service that helps wallets, exchanges and apps find routes for moving assets between networks, including Canton. 14. @edeldotfinance partnered with Flowdesk for trading liquidity and Anchorage for asset custody. 15. @CantonVenues now estimates how much of a token you could sell while keeping 98% of its quoted value. You can also compare a past trade with the quotes available at the time. 16. In a local test, @ZenithFdn used a token representing Japanese government bonds as collateral for a loan. Separately, its test network is due to reset on November 2. 17. $NEOPRIME is trading on @silvana_book. Hecto designed the token to give traders exposure to private companies. 18. Apps using @partylayerkit can read wallet balances with permission. If a transaction’s status is unclear, they can check what happened without sending it twice. 19. @ligero_inc secured approval for up to 10 million CC to build a tool that checks token supply limits while keeping wallet balances private. Funding is tied to milestones. 20. A security incident took @Send’s Canton Wallet offline on October 22. Send’s incident report found no unauthorized access to customer wallets or funds. 21. @Canborsa_DEX cut perpetual futures trading fees from 0.07% to 0.055%. Traders can also set a limit on how far a market order can move from the quoted price.

And 3rd party is?
We've identified & fixed an issue impacting our international platform, Polymarket.com. One of our 3rd party providers was compromised, and we have referred this to relevant law enforcement. Anyone who has been impacted will be made whole. Out of an abundance of caution, we have temporarily halted trading & are working to bring the platform back online.

How to see if someone is OG in building things? When you see comments like this: "Writing prompts to AI is easy. Executing is hard and requires work and thinking." 💁‍♂️🫡
Again you responded with AI. I go back to it because you’re a broken record. I don’t deflect. I work. Yesterday we spent a few hours going over the details of the CIP. Writing prompts to AI is easy. Executing is hard and requires work and thinking. I’m sorry we don’t move fast enough for you. I guess when the CIP is out we’ll see if it shows enough desire the drive value as you like to write. I have no problem engaging honestly and transparently but you keep writing the same theoretical questions with no real added value comments and hence you get these replies from me. It’s like every time you post I’d write “it seems Akyra is a good actor looking for positive engagement but at the end of the day is he really trying to help the community or he’s actually trying to hurt it. That is the real question” and no matter what you responded my answer to you would be the same.

something i've noticed: AI agents create a weird new kind of burnout. esp for young people. a lot of ambitious 22 year olds are going to think the answer is simple: - spin up more agents - ship more code - sleep less - outwork everyone and for a while, it will feel incredible. you can keep multiple agents running, feed them tasks, review outputs, fix mistakes, make decisions, and keep the whole loop moving. the problem is that the work no longer drains you through typing. it drains you through judgment. More attention. More context switching. More verification. More decisions per hour. so instead of 8-10 normal productive hours, you might get 4-5 extremely intense hours before your brain is fully cooked. and you feel numb until you sleep properly and reset some of my friends are already burnt out. they don't say it out loud but i can tell. the agent can keep working 24/7. the human still has a hard limit

Seems this man is talking about my modus operandi
Eric Schmidt says the 10x advantage is no longer execution. It is defining what counts as success. A programmer writes a spec and an evaluation function, runs it at 7pm, and wakes up to what was invented overnight. The advantage now belongs to whoever can specify the problem precisely. The rest will be automated.
