Yall hate her on husband. Villainize her parents. Romanticize her abusive exes. Wish for her misery. Attribute her hardwork to useless men. But have the audacity to come and question why she's distancing herself from yall?

Taylor Swift fans have a lot of bad takes about music but it's important to remember that they know so little about the subject that they genuinely believe that Taylor Swift invented being a teen girl in country music.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The author of the quoted tweet never stated that Taylor Swift created “being a teen girl in Country music” but they’re rather stating that Taylor did bring country to younger audiences, which has been stated by multiple critics.

Racist, unfunny, hideous. Absolutely nothing could ever induce me to read her pity essay.
“Every possible -ism and -phobia and moral impropriety has been ascribed to me since I began my largely pro-bono career as an internet girl,” writes Ivy Wolk.
In a new essay, the 22-year-old comedian and actor reflects on the way her dark thoughts about her own self-image are interpreted as “soulless edgelord fare” — and all the times she’s been canceled since she started posting her comedy online as a teen, including when children once decided en masse that she was a “whorish foil” to a famous friend of hers.
“As much as I wish for anonymity or a slate wipe sometimes, I am grateful for the perspective I’ve aggregated and the ways in which I have been challenged never to abandon my beliefs and my unbounding love for other people,” Wolk writes. “It cannot harden me, it cannot isolate me from community, and it cannot remove me from public life.”

making this about taylor swift doesn’t work because she didn’t kick anyone off her tour for saying “free palestine”. her dancers and openers said it multiple times and they didn’t get fired unlike macklemore. you guys really cannot hold a man accountable for one second?
Jack Antonoff tells Ed Sheeran to “stand the f*ck up” after Macklemore was fired from his tour for showing support to Palestine:
“it’s not in any way a strange, uncomfortable or controversial thing to say [Free Palestine], it’s a deeply human thing to say. If you think it is [controversial] you’re lost in some other sauce that is so crazy. They’re going to let some f*cking promoter tell me what I can say? Don’t book me. I’ll play for free outside. [Ed Sheeran] missed a massive, beautiful opportunity there: just cancel the whole fucking tour, then play for free outside each venue, raise a bunch of money, rather than let a fucking billionaire tell you what to do. The reason it’s not an anomaly or niche issue is because we all live in a world where billionaires are constantly telling us what to do. So stand the f*ck up.”
