Election Results: Take Time.
Unofficial results are often available on election night, but the count isn’t over yet.
Vote-by-mail and provisional ballots still need to be counted, and election results must be canvassed and certified before they are official.
🗳️ If a scanner malfunctions, ballots can be placed in a secure auxiliary bin. Once the equipment is working again, election judges from both parties scan the ballots, with poll watchers allowed to observe.
