I do know someone who is unemployed for like a year, spiraling, drinking, etc but truthfully it's capable for things to turn around...if they actually buckle down and focus whether they do or not..

You can afford to be more moral when you make more money. Metamorality is to make more money. If you don't, you're probabilistically putting yourself in a future situation where you'll be tempted to he immoral
