I'm selling my body. On October 07th, I'm attending my first CRYPTO event in Singapore You can advertise your startup/brand on 13 spots of my dress: - Your website listed on token2049.vanshu.fun - Your Logo printed on my dress on event day - I'll share it on my X account Bidding starts at $350 Each takeover doubles the price: $350 → $700 → $1,400. If outbid, you’re refunded minus the fee Bidding closes tuesday the 15th at midnight UTC ( in 2 days ) So i have enough time to print the winning logo on my dress → Sponsor my dress: token2049.vanshu.fun

Hacktoberfest is back with a thoughtful change this time: “AI belongs to everyone” ✨ It is now moving away from counting pull requests to events where meaningful learning and building with open-source AI takes place. As someone who works with maintainers frequently, I am glad about the change in the format, as it will reduce the low-effort, AI-generated PRs that create noise and burnout for maintainers and also give the community a better way to engage with AI through transparent, accessible tools. Excited to see how this turns out to be 🌱 Read more: hacktoberfest.com/ #Hacktoberfest #OpenSource #OpenSourceAI #Maintainers #AI

WE IGNORE PRIVILEGE. A small conversation on a flight recently humbled me. I was flying from Ranchi to Hyderabad, and the woman sitting next to me was in her 60s. We started talking about where we were from, college, life, etc. At some point, she asked me:

During my bachelor's, I used to spend around ₹3k/month on mess while my overall monthly food + going-out expenses could go up to ₹12-15k. Some friends spent more. Some spent less. And I've always considered myself privileged to have had the opportunities and chances I've had.

I remember asking a friend to join me at a meetup. He said it’d cost ₹400 even by public transport, and he could get 2 biryanis for that. I was like, “Wait, that makes sense.” I went because I wanted to, but not everyone can spend freely. When you have limits, you prioritize.

This random conversation on a flight reminded me to look around & appreciate what I already have before chasing what I don't. Lowkey humbled me. Hopefully, one day, I'll be in a position where ₹500 feels insignificant too. But I'll never forget that it wasn't always that way.
