Seven no-hitters for Nolan Ryan, three more than Sandy Koufax, the last at age 44 for the Rangers.
His 6.56 hits per nine is the lowest ever for a pitcher with 1,000 innings.
He also tied Bob Feller with 12 one-hitters and Walter Johnson with 18 two-hitters.

A leader, a champion, a legend.
Thank you for every moment, every milestone, and every memory you gave to Houston. Congratulations on an extraordinary career, JV 🤘🧡

A lot of special stuff from @JustinVerlander in Detroit today. I totally understand the love they have for him because of the magic he brought to that city.
But, this is the magic he brought to mine.
Houston LITERALLY loves you forever, legend.
JV will never pay for beer again in Houston, we freaking love Justin Verlander.
Today my brother makes the final start of his career.
It will be his first start in Detroit for the Tigers in 9 years and 37 days (August 2017).
So many memories in Detroit.
Baseball is my life. A huge reason for that is my brother. I fell in love with baseball watching him play.
Today I get to watch him play one more time. Let’s do this.
Go Tigers.

This level of disrespect is incomprehensible.
As the names of Americans murdered on September 11th are read aloud at Ground Zero, AOC and Mamdani are laughing and smiling together.
There is a time and a place for politics. This isn’t it.
Ground Zero is sacred ground.
Those names belong to fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, firefighters, cops, and innocent Americans who went to work one morning and never came home.
For a few hours, on one day, have some damn respect.
September 11th is not a photo op.
It is not a networking event.
It is a funeral America has attended for 25 years.
