The Bank will participate in the Rwandan Diaspora Europe Retreat 2026 in Poland on October 30–31 and the Rwanda Unity and Resilience Forum 2026 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, on October 31. The engagements follow a partnership with the Rwandan Community Abroad (RCA) Canada, formalised through an MoU signed during the Rwanda Convention Canada in Ottawa on October 10. Services for diaspora customers include remote account opening, savings and fixed-term deposits, digital banking and financing options for eligible investments in Rwanda. Eligible businesses can borrow at 9% interest, with no fees or commissions, for up to five years. • Participants said the training highlighted the importance of documenting sales, income and expenses to demonstrate business performance and improve their chances of qualifying for loans, particularly where they lack collateral.
