No one has seen or heard from my father since August, when he explicitly said that he was being tortured and that the regime was trying to kill him like Egypt’s government did Morsi. The UN Special Rapporteur on torture has repeatedly stated that his treatment amounts to torture. Pakistan’s fascist regime, led by military dictator Asim Munir, continue to ignore the Supreme Court order from August for my father to be assessed and treated at the private Shifa International Hospital, as well as for regular access to family visits and access to his lawyers. It is clear that they are trying to kill him as he is by far the most popular political figure in the country, and they fear him. If the worst happens, no one should make any mistake who is responsible. It is Asim Munir with the approval of the illegitimate Pakistani government. Every government that continues to legitimise this regime will be complicit in this and the resulting chaos and destabilisation it causes in the region. No state that is engaging in friendly relations with this fascist Pakistani regime can truly claim to uphold the values of democracy or human rights.

#Pakistan🇵🇰 The International Human Rights Foundation (IHRF) strongly condemns the unjust imprisonment of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, who has been sentenced to three years in prison following a grossly unfair trial. This case of lawfare has been orchestrated by the military establishment, working in tandem with its political proxies and allied media, who have silenced opposition by resorting to the arrest and even assassination of dissenting voices, as in the case of Arshad Sarif. The Pakistani deep state have consistently undermined Mr Imran Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, despite their considerable lead in the opinion polls. Indeed, Mr Khan has already been the subject of an assassination attempt, from which he narrowly escaped with injuries. We reiterate the need for the forthcoming elections in a few months' time to take place unhindered. We call for peace and full respect for human rights. 🇵🇰 Imran Khan's last sister still outside prison has a warning: if anyone claims he's cut a deal with the government, DON'T believe it.
Rubina Khan says her brother has been held in total isolation since December 2, 2025, while her 3 sisters sit behind bars.
With deal rumors swirling, she says it would be "very convenient" for someone to announce one on his behalf while all 3 are locked up.
She also accuses the government of trying to kill him behind bars by withholding urgent medical treatment, despite an August Supreme Court order to move him to hospital.
Until the family can actually see him, she won't trust anyone claiming to speak for him.

ہر جماعت نے عمران خان کے خلاف بار بار لانگ مارچ نکالے، کسی لانگ مارچ پر کریک ڈاون نہیں ہوا کہیں تشدد نہیں ہوا ، کبھی ورکرز کے گھر نہیں توڑے۔ نواز شریف نے بیمار ہونے کی ایکٹنگ کی تو ترس آگیا اور نواز شریف فیصل واڈا کے کتے کے خون کا سیمپل دے کر باہر چلا گیا۔ مطیع اللہ جان کو فوج نے اٹھایا تو فوری بازیاب کروایا۔
غلطیاں کمیاں کمزوریاں کوتاہیاں بھی رہیں لیکن ایسی مثالیں آپ کو پاکستان کی اسی سالہ تاریخ میں کہیں نہیں ملیں گی۔ المیہ یہ رہا کہ شاید ہی ان میں سے کوئی ایسا ہو جس نے بعد میں عمران خان کو ڈسا نہ ہو۔
