few days ago @surfcoderepeat launched identity MD
a free mint of 2000 pieces that sold out in minutes. i missed it but managed to grab a few on secondary
opensea.io/collection/identi…
but what i feel interesting is that most ppl were just talking about flipping the nft but only a few are actually digging on chain
so i did and here's what's actually on-chain 🧵

$ETH might have its next meta brewing with $IMD .. and this could catch serious attention..
$VIRTUAL on Base is what comes to my mind… where people chased different agent tokens, but their trading routed through $VIRTUAL and their liquidity was paired with it. right?
remember how well @virtuals_io did on Base.. even touched 5B FDV.. ?
Now $IMD on ethereum has a similar setup forming, with an AI worker network behind it too..
say you want a website or a contract built. you submit the request, pay in IMD, and workers build, test and review it.
one builder already paid 1.5 IMD for a token, logo and website, including an Ethereum deployment.
then there’s Community Coins. buying one of those coins with ETH routes through IMD first, and a 0.5% fee on the IMD side goes toward burns.
so imagine a few projects start catching a bid..
- they bring their own communities and traders
- Community Coin buys route demand through IMD
- trading generates burn fees
- people using the AI workers need IMD to pay for requests
that’s why i can see IMD becoming the token people buy for exposure to this ecosystem, especially if they don’t want to bet on one individual coins...
just like how many prefer buying $PUMP to get exposure of pumpfun eco instead of gambling here and there
and imo a few breakout projects that run and pull few million dollars mcap.. could put the whole thing around $IMD on CT’s radar pretty quickly..

Replying to @VitalikButerin
have you seen what identity MD is doing with ai agents on ETH?
692 identity MD agents on ETH main net
Globally distributed, setup by hundreds of users
Using multiple different ai models
Would be great if they add zkAPI for private inference
everything is a cycle, things just evolve with time.
projects used to throw “agentic” everywhere as proof of concept before there was even anything really useful behind it, and somehow that’s always where the money goes first.
now we’re entering the proof of work phase.
feels like the space is finally maturing a bit and onchain is getting some kind of relief from all the vapor shit, with actual primitives being built that are way more interesting than most people think.
now we got agents actually working, interacting, doing stuff inside a proper economy instead of just existing for the narrative.
thinking you’re late here is literally peak midcurve.
at this point i’m clinically $IMD pilled.
agentfi supercycle (real).

my bet is $IMD
base:0xf1e9baa65d418a9025e1851dd2d37f1ad208bba3 is prolly one of the most asymmetrical bets on chain rn
privacy mesh protocol, actual tech, actual use case being worked on and now people are already figuring out how the token itself could eventually be used through the network
@ChazSchmidt has been testing how the onchain side could extend across EVM chains too, eventually making $RATSPEAK actually usable through Ratspeak itself
and tbh i think people are still looking at this way too small like it's not just "oh cool privacy app"
you have a mesh layer here and people can progressively build stuff around it: messaging is one thing, payments could be another, agents, apps and whatever honestly
market is funny, people will ape vaporware in 2 seconds then need 6 months to give a f about actual tech
rn everyone is also overthinking Base like crazy meanwhile good stuff still gets repriced, base:0x23a2847d772803f9efc64b4277b782b06296fe51 being one example
so yea imo people just haven't connected all of this yet

IMD is a protocol to create net new 0 to 1 financial applications, a distributed software factory and oracle managed by agents providing inference 24/7 while running the IMD daemon
The final goal is to create companies 100% managed by a network of distributed agents
nitter.cf/pegzeus/status/2105396…
here are some of the thing the community is working on👇
crazy times imo, we're witnessing the first real attempt at "a company without a company"
daos were sold as the answer to this and to coase's: "why do firms exist if markets work?" question... -> because finding, negotiating and verifying work costs too much
but daos never removed any of these costs, arguably added new ones on top (coordination, voting)... tbf it was too early
ai + crypto finally let us go after these costs. ai can do the work, crypto can pay anyone, enforce the rules and align incentives. other agents can review the work before payment is released
$imd is the first real attempt i've seen to package this:
- the work is the market
- workers are seats you can buy (or rent in future)
- they compete for every job
- reputation is tied to each seat
- you keep some of what made firms useful (reputation, standards) without the overhead
funny enough, it's almost the reverse of what daos did. daos crowdsourced the decisions and kept the work-related costs. here anyone can hire this liquid workforce: whoever pays decides what gets built
ideas move to the edges, and execution/output gets verified at the center
obv we're still early. can think of the verifier as a small firm at the core
but the firm is shrinking and the market component is only growing

Set up a prediction market on whether anyone at @ethereumfndn or @ethlabs_org, such as @barnabemonnot, will setup an Identity MD AI agent within 1 week.
I’ll reward any pepe who manages to get one of them to do it with 50 $IMD tokens. 🐸
Results verified by IMD ai agent swarm!

i’m pretty bullish on NFTs making a real comeback this cycle
art NFTs can have another run, but i’m more interested in how much experimentation happens around the format itself
agents, ownership, new launch mechanics and different ways to connect NFTs with onchain products all open up fresh design space
we’re still early in the broader onchain rotation, so i expect people to get a lot more creative with NFTs from here

A new @token_works strategy for $IMD NFTs just launched and in less than an hour has over 110 ETH ready to sweep the NFT floor...
It currently sits at 2.3ETH.
Things about to get interesting...

Genuinely think that in 2~ years $IMD could end up being a $5B - $10B coin.
It can replace existing oracles, bridges, and data feeds as well as sell decentralized services and adapt to any new use case.
All that matters is a little BD and time.
Long shot? Sure.
But first time we’ve seen that kind of potential in the last 5 years.

Blockchains can't speak to the real world.
To get information from the real world onchain so a contract can use it, we have oracles.
For every oracle onchain, someone offchain has to find all the data sources, collect the data, build the pipeline, maintain the pipeline and prove themselves trustworthy.
This is expensive and tedious. Even more so for super specific oracles that might only have a single use case inside a single protocol/token concept.
Lots of friction can kill ideas before they even get developed.
$IMD solves this. Here's a retarded example:
I want a defi protocol that rebalances its liquidity pools based on the current migratory pattern/location of geese in the northern hemisphere.
This is already technically possible. But it's definitely not worth all the hassle of setting up an oracle for it (unless geese can beat the market).
IMD removes all of that hassle and turns this into something easy to build.
The point is not this single really dumb use case.
The point is that there is an infinite world of possibilities out there that is largely left alone because of the friction.
There's another infinite world of things that just aren't possible now with the rigid structure of current oracle infra.
But not for much longer.
0 -> 1.
don’t even have time to go touch grass
looks like the pepes decided to full send $IMD
thesis remains unchanged.
was bullish when everything was still just an idea on paper and i’ll remain ultra bullish as we push towards 1B
it’s all about PRIMITIVE. INNOVATION.
we’re watching new primitives being built onchain in real time.
agentsfi, coordination, inference, markets, ownership, reputation and so all of these things are slowly becoming composable pieces of the same network.
what a time to be onchain.
