I’ve met @izebel_eth a couple of times IRL. Can vouch that he's a man of integrity with good intentions (and obs, super super smart!).
I’m confident he’ll figure out what’s best for the protocol and its users in the long run.

we understand, these are not changes we made lightly, we are aware. but we hope that both through our prior actions as individuals and papertrade we have shown that we are playing the long game, that these decisions were made for the longterm health and sustainability of the protocol, from lessons weve learned one week in prod that we could not have known/did not predict ahead of time
in my view the fact that we have the privilege to discuss this today is a testament to how much we got right, and we hope people will understand
Only on @memepegdotcom
Who's sick of grindling WL to get rugged?
Launch your NFT in 1 min from a JPEG
Introducing Memepeg: Launch an NFT collection from a single JPEG in under a minute.
Minting shouldn't mean getting stuck with a bag you can't sell.
Coming soon to @RobinhoodCrypto
Here's what we're changing 🧵
What if there're no promises from the start? Promise nothing, expect nothing.
We're expecting too much from nft "creators" imo - most collections are just memecoins with jpegs
Fixing this now
Just got scammed for $550+ while trying to mint a free Degen @arc NFT on a custom website.
Turns out, it wasn’t actually free. The site automatically detected your wallet balance and gave you enough mints to drain your entire balance.
Tbh, Arc is also shit at showing transaction details. I’m sure 95% of people signing Arc transactions don’t even know exactly what amount or signature they’re approving. That makes it incredibly easy for scammers to exploit custom sites.
Stay safe, and don’t FOMO like I did.
Don’t use your main wallets for Arc transactions. For the time being, try to stick to well-known sites like OpenSea or Jumper, and keep only a low balance in your burner wallets.

As far as I am concerned, NFTs are dead.
For now.
Most of the recent runners are some variation of a token Ponzi dressed up as a JPEG. That is not what brought me into this space.
What brings NFTs back?
The market needs to pick a winner. A real one. Cypherpunk-style. And fucking send it to the moon.
Not cabal-driven.
Not a founder propping up the floor to feed their own ego.
Not “mopping the competition”.
Not manufactured hype dressed up as traction.
Not overstating revenues, adoption or success.
It needs to be grassroots. Organic. Transparent.
Holding it should give you a warm feeling inside because you know the team and holders are genuinely aligned. There should be legitimate hope that this thing could onboard the next million NFT enjoyers. And the team needs to be demonstrably competent enough to actually pull it off.
We need to rediscover our Web3 values.
Put aside the greed and the need for immediate gratification. Ironically, that will probably do more for your bags over the long run than chasing the next coordinated pump.
And we need to stop pretending we cannot see the shenanigans that have become normalised across this industry.
The market needs to send NFT founders a very clear message:
Build something real.
Treat your holders properly.
Create value.
Tell the truth.
And we will fucking back you.
That is how this space comes back.

Literally no dev on @memepegdotcom to rug from you
Bring back the late night degen mints
I've been paying closer attention to Robinhood NFTs lately and here are a few things I've noticed.
Volume is drying up and degens are not having fun anymore because of the constant dumps.
This is not the same Robinhood Chain we knew in the first few weeks.
Back then, people would literally buy anything and push the floor up
So what changed?
I think the shift started when more builders with faces, doxxed founders and utility-focused projects started launching.
Not saying that's a bad thing, but it made people start questioning almost every project before minting or buying on secondary.
More skepticism = less risk-taking = less liquidity.
But here's the thing:
Doxxed founders rug too.
Projects with core utility fail too.
A fancy roadmap does not guarantee success.
I think NFTs are great. What we need to fix is our mentality as a community.
Not every NFT needs to be a 10x.
Sometimes we should just collect because we like the art, trade because it's fun and support builders we believe in.
If we want NFTs to grow again, we need to bring the fun back.
Make NFTs fun again.
