You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.
I am disgusted that @England players who have given so much for our country this summer have been subject to vile racist abuse on social media.
It has no place in our country and I back the police to hold those responsible accountable.

Edward Colston ran a company that shipped 84,000 kidnapped African men, women & children to the Americas - 19,000 of these are estimated to have died during the crossing.
He was a mass murderer as well as a slave trader.
The statue in Bristol should have come down years ago.
This is horrific and truly the flip side of the beautiful, picturesque Cornwall us white people see. I really believe we can change things and bring up our children and the next generation of Cornwall to be anti-racist but we must listen to the experiences of people like Cheveay.
