Agents already empower many of us to build more ambitious things, and we’re only at the beginning stages of what they can do. We are excited to join OpenAI and bring intelligence to as many people as we can
This also means we are sunsetting Instant Cloud. Existing apps will continue to be support for 12 months, and backups available for 24 months. More details in our blog posts below

We've got another self-host win for y'all!
There are now complete guides for VPS, AWS, migrating, and operating your self hosted Instant.

This lets you run your changes, then you click the button again, and bam, your app is back to accepting writes.
If you’re planning a migration in advance, your app can even react to read-only mode:
Just subscribe to it, like you do other queries:

Hey everyone! Last month, we made it easy to run InstantDB on your own server....

Your machines will be aware of each other, so things like live cursors and shared presence will work out of the box no matter what machine each user is connected to.
And to make this even easier, we wrote up a guide to get this working via Docker Swarm!
