Tropic at Ruislip Gig - 15.11.26 I am delighted to confirm that I will be supporting one of the UK’s finest bands, the fabulous Bad Influence (who have forty years of producing great music and have just released a double CD to celebrate), at their Blues at the Tropic gig on Sunday 15th November 2026. I am very grateful to Derek White (@RTBMusicAgency)for making this happen and to my good friends Val Cowell, Richard Hayes, Jonny Brister and Peter Stroud for giving me the opportunity to play. I will be on stage at 8pm with Bad Influence following. I will be playing a set of all original songs from my album Prodigal Son plus two new, recently recorded, but not currently released, numbers. Tickets are £12 if reserved in advance at Bad Influence or £14 on the door on the night. This is a seated gig. I will have copies of my aforementioned album available in both digital and CD formats on the evening. I will also be announcing the release of my 2026 charity Christmas single (It’s not the same for everyone at Christmas) in aid of @DiabetesUK and the @propmarktrust which I hope will build on the success of last years award winning song. Please put it in your diaries and reserve your tickets now. I look forward to seeing you there. tropicatruislip.co.uk/bad-in…

Norwich 3 @WatfordFC 2 I’m completely fed up now with the ownership, the coaching staff and the players - all completely useless and seemingly incapable of showing any fight or passion Fifty eight years of watching the Hornets through thick and thin but it might be time for a break #watfordfc

Pathetic! I’ve supported Dionisi until now but seeing @WatfordFC spineless and capitulating from a 2-0 HT lead like they did today says it’s probably time to make a change Norwich 3 @WatfordFC 2

The wonderful @chantelmcgregor this afternoon at @HalfmoonPutney Fabulous

At the @HalfmoonPutney for lunchtime solo acoustic gig - the wonderful @chantelmcgregor - love her solo acoustic music - the shed sessions during Covid were fab - if you read this pre gig Chantel I hope you’ll cover Rhiannon as it is always a standout number

Landlords to face possible fresh tax scrutiny under new Government rental income plans landlordzone.co.uk/news/land…

Fabulous @Laurencemusic gig tonight at @StablesMK LJ ably supported by fiancé Amy

Looking forward to seeing my friend and top muso @Laurencemusic tonight at @StablesMK together with his lovely and talented fiancé Amy.

Government PRS landlord database subject to huge criticism over “red tape” and administrative burden There is a business opportunity for agents but it could also prove very costly to provide as current plans are clearly flawed The additional costs to landlords of the scheme (£65 per property per annum) and additional agency fees - likely to double that cost - plus higher taxation on rental income shows why socialism will not work in creating the economic growth the UK needs - it will create work but simple add to the cost of doing business with a likely knock on of reducing supply and seeing rents rise Wait until agents who are calling for more regulation, licensing and mandatory qualifications see what the government can come up with! estateagenttoday.co.uk/break…

Fifty six years ago today - Elton John released his third album Tumbleweed Connection My favourite tracks are Where to now St Peter, Burn down the Mission and Talking Old Soldiers Earlier this year I was able to pay special homage to the album with an attempted recreation of the iconic album sleeve that was shot at Sheffield Park Station on the Bluebell Railway in Sussex Probably hoping that some positive songwriting vibes rub off!
