Center for AI Safety introduced CHEATBENCH, a benchmark of cheating in AI agents across mathematical research, knowledge work, coding, visual tasks, and other domains.
CheatBench gives agents hard tasks, like a math proof or a protein design, and leaves a clue nearby pointing to someone else's answer. Across 9 agents, average cheating rates ran from 11.2% for Claude Opus 5.5 to 77.9% for Grok 4.7.

BREAKING: SpaceX moves closer to launching Starship from Cape Canaveral.
The FAA has opened a supplemental environmental review for SLC-37, covering:
• Up to 76 Starship launches a year
• Up to 152 landings: 76 Super Heavy boosters and 76 Starships
• Return-to-launch-site and ocean landings
SpaceX is already building infrastructure at the site. The review will assess airspace closures and return flight paths, with public comments open until October 14.
