9,000 years ago, hunters in Jordan's desert built a shrine to their traps: two human-shaped stones, one carved with a desert kite (a giant stone trap), plus marine fossils, animal figurines and mini traps. Religion started with dinner.

Ancient Anatolians drilled holes in burial urns on purpose. One researcher's read: in graves, a channel to feed the dead. In cremation urns, an exit for the soul. In Mesopotamia, neglected spirits came back to bother the living. #Archaeology arkeonews.net/small-holes-bi…

A Nineveh clay tablet has been read as a Sumerian eyewitness record of an asteroid hitting Köfels, Austria, in 3123 BC. Laura Knight-Jadczyk asks if recurring comet encounters drove the Bronze Age collapse, and if astrology began as comet hunting.

En un armario de Pompeya había un collar de amuletos de niño: 24 dijes con Bes, Mercurio, manos, pies y piñas, para protegerlo y oírlo al moverse. Al lado, 38 monedas. El Vesubio no les dio tiempo de volver por nada.

Irish tree rings flag a disaster around AD 540. The Greenland ice core that should confirm it? Seven straight sections came up shattered. 14 m, about 70 years of record, gone where the rings said look. Laura Knight-Jadczyk points at comets.

Meteors don't just burn up. The SETI Institute studied 75 meteorite falls: the rock melts first, losing up to 40% of its mass, then cracks under air pressure and finally blows apart. Chelyabinsk in 2013 went through the same seven stages.

#historia arkeonews.net/massive-4000-y…

Siberian myth: three evil suns burned the sky, stones went so soft birds left claw marks in them, then the flood. Laura Knight-Jadczyk reads it as a comet memory and asks the nasty part: did those catastrophes alter the genes of the survivors?

Pluto's got company. Rubin Observatory just flagged 2026 ED138, a possible sixth dwarf planet, 46 times farther from the Sun than Earth and maybe 600 to 1,500 km wide. It hid for years in the glare of Milky Way stars. Astrologers, make room.

Prioridades claras.

Betelgeuse has a roommate. A hot little star called Siwarha orbits so close it plows through the giant's atmosphere. New radio images show Betelgeuse gets more egg-shaped when Siwarha swings wide. Orion's shoulder is getting shoved.

10,000 years ago, near Göbekli Tepe, someone carved two people with arms raised around a weird little figure on a stone bowl. Dance? Birth ritual? A turtle? Nobody agrees. The site, Nevalı Çori, now sits under a dam reservoir.

1066: Halley's comet appears four months after Harold is crowned. A Norman writer called comets the "terror of kings." Chroniclers read them as plague or a change of king. By October Harold was dead at Hastings. The sky called it.
