THE AI BUBBLE JUST POPPED.
Google โ over -12%. $500 billion gone in one day.
Amazon โ over -12% after the bell. $315 billion gone.
Google's worst day since 2004. Worse than 2008. Worse than COVID.
China โ ALREADY in a bear market. Its tech board down 40% in 4 months.
A 2008-style crash โ loading.
Sell everything before it's too late.
No.
No. No. FUCK NO.
Look at what Google and Amazon actually reported:
Google Cloud โ UP 103%. More than DOUBLED in a year.
Google revenue โ UP 25%. Missed forecasts by just 0.5%.
Gemini โ 1 billion users.
Amazon's cloud โ UP 39%. Fastest in nearly 5 years.
Amazon's revenue โ missed by 0.2%. That's it.
SK Hynix memory chips โ SOLD OUT through 2029.
Nobody believes in AI right now. Everyone is scared. Everyone is screaming 2008.
7 tech giants are 35% of the S&P 500. AI isn't slowing down. It's eating every industry.
This is not the start of a crash. This is the start of a PARABOLIC run for AI.
This drop is a fucking gift. Buy the dip.
Google has lost $1.4 trillion since its May record. Amazon's boss expects its cloud to grow 40%+ in 2027 AND 2028.
Follow me and Bookmark this. The day AI stocks go vertical, you'll want proof you saw this dip.

Waymo: stepwise/linear W(m) โ 30k + 19kยทm (m = months from Oct 2024) โ 406k/wk by Q2 2026.
Tesla: exponential after Aug 2026 T(w) โ 129k ยท (1.2)^w (w = weeks) โ 438k by mid-Oct, ~20%/wk compounding.
Teslaโs recent rate dwarfs Waymoโs steady pace and has already overtaken the weekly figure despite the later start and Waymoโs data lag.

Just wondering... how many Tesla Cybercabs do you plan on owning?
Iโve been running the numbers for a while, and I honestly think Cybercab could become one of the most exciting investment opportunities regular people have ever had. The idea of owning a car that earns money while Iโm home with my family is something I canโt stop thinking about these days...
However, I know the numbers have to work. Hereโs the scenario Iโm working with, assuming I buy the car outright:
โข Purchase price: about ~$30,000
โข Average fare: $1.35 per paid mile
โข Average paid miles: 150 a day across the full year
โข Teslaโs share: an assumed 30%
That works out to about $74,000 a year in fares. After Teslaโs assumed share, about $51,700 would be left before expenses. To keep roughly $30,000 a year, Iโd need charging, cleaning, insurance, tires, maintenance and money set aside to eventually replace the car to fit within about $21,700.
If it holds, weโre talking about roughly ~$30,000 a year per cab before income tax. Under those assumptions, the car could earn back its purchase price in about a year, which is wild imo.
At $30,000 in annual earnings per cab, hereโs how many youโd need to reach at least these targets.
โข $100K a year โ 4 Cybercabs
โข $250K a year โ 9 Cybercabs
โข $500K a year โ 17 Cybercabs
โข $750K a year โ 25 Cybercabs
โข $1M a year โ 34 Cybercabs
I have to let this sink in... thirty-four cars, under these assumptions, could produce just over $1 million a year before income tax.
Of course, 34 cars would also be a real business to run. Like someone still has to handle cleaning, repairs, charging and all the things passengers manage to spill.
I keep comparing this potential with rental property, which I also own.
Buying rentals, especially here in the Bay Area, takes serious $ money. Then you have property taxes, insurance, repairs, vacancies and mortgage payments if you borrow. And occasionally, a late-night call about a broken toilet. Also takes a long time to make your $ back.
In this Cybercab scenario, four cars would cost about $120,000 before taxes and setup, and could produce roughly $120,000 in just a year before income tax. That relationship between the $ money you put in and the income you get back is what makes owning a Cybercab, a major advantage.
I know there are tradeoffs too, of course... a property can rise in value. A car doing tens of thousands of miles a year wears out. A Cybercab may spare you the broken toilet, but it will probably still need more attention on a daily basis.
Also, one of the biggest question in my model is whether each Cybercab can consistently average 150 PAID miles a day. Driving empty to the next pickup adds costs without adding fare revenue. Charging, cleaning and repairs take time. And more competition could push fares even lower.
Despite these things, there is REAL progress to look at today. Cybercabs are already carrying paying riders in Austin and expanding, and Tesla has said itโs aiming to begin customer deliveries by the end of 2026. Teslaโs broader ride-hailing service now reaches parts of seven U.S. metro areas.
For me, Iโd start with a couple of Cybercabs, see what they actually earn, and build toward a fleet of 25+ if the numbers hold up. Iโm seriously excited for the day I get to send my own fleet out to work.
I believe itโs only a matter of time before Tesla becomes the #1 robotaxi provider in the U.S.

first time ever letting Grok bot buy something for meโฆ
it signed me up for Spotify's $1 trial, then cancelled it right after so I'd never get charged the $12.99.
and it told me the checkout page had hidden text telling AI agents to click an invisible button.
but it caught it and completely ignored it.
asked for my card through a secure form, stopped to confirm before charging anything, and handled the whole thing in a few minutes.
honestly one of the most impressive things I've seen an AI agent do considering how they made it so Grok Bot never sees any of the verification codes or payment methods.
Thanks @grok thanks for the feedback/report.
