13 Years Ago Today! 🚀
On November 5, 2013, ISRO launched Mangalyaan (MOM) - our very first interplanetary mission to Mars!
A mission planned for 6 months... but lasted 7 amazing years!
India became the first nation to reach Mars on its very first attempt! 🚀
NVS-03 COMPLETES ITS THIRD AND FINAL ORBIT-RAISING MANOEUVRE! 🛰️
ISRO has successfully completed the third and final orbit-raising manoeuvre of the NVS-03 spacecraft, marking the successful completion of its orbital journey.
Following the manoeuvre, the satellite has attained an orbit with:
-Apogee: 35,842.58 km
-Perigee: 34,594.95 km
NVS-03 COMPLETES ITS FIRST ORBIT-RAISING MANOEUVRE! 🛰️
ISRO has successfully completed the first orbit manoeuvre of the NVS-03 spacecraft on 31 October 2026 at 16:48 IST, using its Liquid Apogee Motor (LAM).
-Apogee (farthest point from Earth): Changed from 38,080 km to 37,833.4 km.
The satellite’s health is reported to be normal. Further orbit-raising manoeuvres are planned to place NVS-03 in its final Geostationary Orbit (GSO) at 111.75° East.

El Niño is leaving its fingerprint on the ocean—and ISRO’s satellite is watching!
ISRO’s EOS-06 (Oceansat-3) is detecting a reduction in ocean Chlorophyll-a for the month of June 2026, indicating changes in tiny marine plants (phytoplankton), along with a shift in surface winds.
From space, these changes offer a fascinating glimpse into the evolving 2026 El Niño and its impact on our oceans compared with signatures in 2024 & 2025.

Flight acceptance hot test of CE20 cryogenic engine earmarked for the C32 upper stage of upcoming LVM3 mission at uprated thrust conditions of 220kN is successfully carried out at ISRO Propulsion Complex, Mahendragiri on September 09, 2026.
Performance of the LOX Tank Pressurization Module (LTPM) meant for the C32 stages for Gaganyaan missions was also successfully demonstrated in this test.
Mission GSLV-F17/EOS-05 Update:
EOS-05 REACHES GEOSYNCHRONOUS ORBIT!
ISRO has successfully completed the third and final orbit-raising manoeuvre of EOS-05 at 8:57 PM IST on September 7, 2026.
This marks the completion of the major orbit-raising phase after EOS-05 was initially injected into a Sub-Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (Sub-GTO) by GSLV-F17 on September 4.
