With support from our partners @itmsug, we have today installed a pedestrian crossing, speed bumps and road signage along Naguru Vale road next to Peekaboo Pre School.
This is aimed at protecting learners and other road users but also raising awareness on #RoadSafety.

✍🏿Take Note: The gazetted fee for a new digital registration plate is UGX 714,300.
During an impromptu inspection conducted together with @PoliceUg last week, one car bond operator was found charging clients UGX 850,000, an excess of UGX 135,700 above the official fee.
🛑UNACCEPTABLE: Car bond operators and other intermediaries are cautioned against imposing unauthorised charges on motorists other than the gazetted fees.
✍🏿REPORT: Motorists are equally encouraged to question any amount demanded above the prescribed fee and report immediately through the Ministry’s communication channels and other relevant authorities.
The Government has ordered car bonds across the country to stop charging above the official cost of new digital number plates after discovering that some dealers were collecting fees higher than the gazetted amount. #GCICMediaReview
