So long, space cowboy.
void.vesturo.eu/zksrppwn0twt…
While getting my things in order i'm currently building a new, proper portfolio too. Obviously this means uploading some footage from the archives and things i already shared here!
mind interacting with the video below? Videos with some views on them always look better on portfolios lol
man, i'm ass at thumbnails 🥀 but better a mediocre thumbnail than slop :p

yesterday i started remaking a harness that was horribly unoptimized. made some good progress ~
almost done by now, just have to remake basically every single ring cause the original creator just putty sculpted them, turning them into eggs lol
102.9k vs 15.5k, rings still not optimized. was legit faster to remake all the strips then trying to opti the existing ones..
Reworking the lighting in my avatar shader to make the fake shadows look a little less cartoony cause nothing better to do on a saturday night :)
Right now, it's relying too much on additive lighting, so I'm taking a page out of lightmapping and testing multiplying base color * lighting instead.
Tonight i'm finally going to @LuxeNovaEvents voidfall :p
of course i had to make an Avatar variant for the occasion ~
As usual my human shape is based on @honeybee6519`s watcher, even though there is not much humanity left in this one ~
Replying to @FuroFloof
i love vagueposting, sorry :p
Tl;dr: they have undisclosed telemetry and extract your vrc username using stringload abuse tto potentially build a profile on you
deleted the middlefinger post cause people thought i'm serious 🥀 i'm just poking fun at em mostly, i think it's hella cringe that they collect telemetry AND extract your vrc username, which just joins my latest problems with that world like the posters seemingly being unvetted and the toggle for them not being persistent.
Pushing the limits sometimes means things go wrong. And believe me, a lot went wrong with this project in the beginning. But after a lot of trial and error, it's finally reaching a point where I'm genuinely proud of what I've built and excited to show it off.
Thank you, SANCTUM, for believing in my vision and giving me the opportunity to bring it to life.
Redefining the limits of motion capture fidelity in virtual reality. Both live and pre-produced, entirely within VRChat.
Here's what it looked like when we recorded Star Glide in the studio world within VRChat :)
and a little bonus outtake of Bee & Xee breaking my system. if i can find the clip of what it looked like on playback before i patched the issue i'll post that too lol
