Tpr. McGuckin & his partner Dre-ko met up with an old friend last week. They first met when Tpr. McGuckin and his partner Dre-ko meeting with a child leaving the hospital following treatment after being struck by a car and injured.
The boy had a prior visit with the hospital’s therapy dog and he enjoyed it so much that as he was heading home, a nurse worked with the Children’s Miracle Network to connect him with Trooper McGuckin and Dre-ko as a special surprise.

🙏🏼
Flint Major Case Unit detectives responded to the 700 block of E. Philadelphia Ave. about 2:45 AM 5/15/24 for a shooting. Preliminary investigation indicates a child sustained a fatal gunshot wound inside a home. This incident is still under investigation & updates will be provided here as they become available.
Please remember that Michigan’s secure storage law requires individuals to keep unattended weapons unloaded and locked with a locking device or stored in a locked box or container if it is reasonably known that a minor is likely to be present on the premises. Free gun locks are available at any MSP post.
