INDIE GAMES VIETNAM TURNS 2
Two years ago, IGVN started out with one simple wish: to connect and share the indie games made by Vietnamese developers.
Over the past two years, we've walked alongside Vietnam's indie devs through every game feature, every showcase trailer, and every step toward building a place where indie studios can reach the players at home.
Looking back, what we're proudest of is how much the Vietnamese indie scene has grown more quality titles, more genres, more styles, all showing just how creative Vietnamese game makers really are.
And we're not stopping here. IGVN will keep expanding, bringing new events and new categories to celebrate what this community has built, and opening more doors for Vietnamese games to reach the world.
To every developer, player, and partner who's been with us thank you. We hope you'll keep walking this road with us.

[IGVNA2026] IGVN AWARDS 2026 OFFICIALLY OPENS THE "BEST BOARD GAME" CATEGORY

IGVN Awards 2026 brings something new to the table this year: submissions are now open for Vietnamese board games under the "BEST BOARD GAME" category.
You might wonder why board games count as indie games in the first place. Truth is, "indie games" is a much broader category than most people realize, and board games sit right at its biggest overlap. The one real difference is that board games come with physical components you can hold and play with beyond that, a board game runs on the same fundamentals as any other game: rules, mechanics, and a story of its own. That's more than enough to earn it a place in Vietnam's indie game community.
Since this marks the first year IGVN has opened a Best Board Game category, we're inviting every board game developed and released between 2025 and 2026 to enter the race. For this category, judging will focus on gameplay depth, design, and player interactivity.
Got a board game released outside that window? You're still welcome to submit. It won't be eligible for nomination, but it's still a great chance to put your game in front of the community.
