Making stories is changing so fast! This is all Vizcom Animate + the motion agent I’m building with Opus. Tiny tiny tests I’m running to perfect the agent. I didn’t even touch the SFX! Crazy! Does it mean I won’t work with motion designers anymore? Not at all. I just released a super cool launch video we worked 5 days intensely on: youtube.com/watch?v=7zCHYe00… I need motion designers because they know how to think and tell stories in motion. Because they’re great visual communicators. Because they can spend hours on an ending to get it right. Because they’re obsessed. Moving forward, definitely I want them to be awesome at AI too. But I know where their value is. To me this whole shift means we all move more toward the value part: building with intention and the right ideas, perfecting the communication, being in conversation with culture, branding… at a scale we never had before. BTW, these are my sketches for agent characters :)

Trump murdered Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, former president of Iran, who - whatever you think of him - was a civilian, not in the military, and so it was murder, plain and simple. As illegal and as murderous as Iran bombing and killing, say, George W Bush at his home in Dallas.

جمعیت امروز در لوس‌آنجلس دریای بی‌پایانی از خشم و غم و امید بود. محال بود انتهای تظاهرات رو ببینی. از هر خیابان، هزاران انسان به جمع عظیم هزاران انسان ديگه می‌ریخت. تنها چند پلیس ترافیک دیدم. هیچ گارد امنیتی، هیچ نیروی ضد شورشى وجود نداشت. ایرانی‌ها در این كلان شهر اعتماد مطلق ساخته‌اند. شهر یاد گرفته که وقتی ایرانی‌ها در خیابان ‌هستند، نیازی به کنترل نیست. حتی یک برخورد نامناسب از تظاهرکنندگان ندیدم. همدلی و همدردی کامل. هيچكس به ديگرى كار نداشت. خيلى ها در سكوت اشك مى ريختند. ايرانى هايى كه فاميل هاى نزديك از دست داده بودند با ديگران اشك مى ريختند و داستان عزيزشان را تعريف مى كردند. روز غريبى بود.

Navid Mirzaei was just 23 years old, with his 24th birthday approaching, a milestone he would never get to celebrate. From the town of Islamabad Gharb (Shabad), he was a young man who embraced hard work and the simple joys of life. He had a deep passion for motorcycling and pursued professional sports with unwavering dedication every single day, often saying, “A good future requires hard memories.” Tragically, he became yet another victim of the people’s protests on January 8, losing his life to direct gunfire from the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic. His body was laid to rest on Sunday, January 11, in the somber grounds of “Imamzadeh Hassan” cemetery in Islamabad Gharb, leaving behind a void that words can scarcely describe. #IranMassacre
