Saru's GITS is the most faithful to Shirow's original manga both visually & narratively.
All the previous ones used the original as a foundation to reflect there own takes on these characters and ideas.
All of them different but equally faithful to original's ghost. (2/3)
It kinda does bother me to see creators here only use "a new movie from Demon Slayer studio" to promote Witch on the Holy Night (Mahoyo)
Ik it's not a big deal but can we also talk about Heaven's Feel Trilogy as it's a more visually representative & a connected work.
