What’s the difference between this and the Lions forward pass intent??? @nflrefstats1

It was a beautiful day in NOLA. The city was full of energy and enthusiasm. I don’t even mind Raiders fans having a good time and enjoying Louisiana after a win. The officiating however has added an element of professional wrestling that has beaten this @Saints fanbase down.

This officiating is egregious. Missed a blatant hold wide open in the middle of the field on that last drive. And forward pass or fumble seems like it’s whatever the officials are feeling at the moment. No consistency in how that is called.
The @nfl is unwatchable and a watered down product. The referees should NEVER determine the outcome of a game, instead that’s exactly what’s happening on a weekly basis @nflcommish

These get missed a lot, but I saw the ref staring right at it in real time and was pretty shocked there was no flag

The NFL placed a lot of weight on Jared Goff kind of halfway looking like he threw the ball.
The reality is it was a terrible call in Week 1. It was the right call today, but because it was botched (and then stood behind) in Week 1, the Saints get hosed on both ends.
Both QB's intended to pass the ball forward. Only one was called a fumble. I guess it's only a fumble when the #Saints do it.

.@nflcommish I don’t know who in New Orleans hurt these refs you’re employing but something’s gotta happen maaaan. EVERY WEEK!

I’m the least conspiracy type of guy you’ll ever find…
But you’d have a hard time convincing me there isn’t some sort of agenda against the Saints.
This is some of the most obvious missed calls I’ve ever seen.

So the exact same play that happened in Detroit, called the other way against a #Saints team that's now suffered from the NFL's insufficient definition of a forward pass for a second time in three game.

NFL officiating is broken. If that’s roughing the passer on Danny Stutsman then just put flags on quarterbacks and call it a day. How do you want a defender to hit a QB throwing the ball ? He can’t stop his momentum once the hit is applied.
