Downside Risk Remains as ETH is losing ground to Bitcoin. Crypto's support may be thinner than it looks. 👀
The ETH/BTC ratio is still trapped in a multi-year triangle and recently retreated to 0.0291.
Why is that important?
This ratio shows how ETH is doing against Bitcoin. A break below rising support would reinforce the bearish trend.
And the two things that could have lifted ETH have both faded:
BitMine has said it will stop further accumulation near its 5% ownership threshold.
Ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade, previously scheduled for October 26, has no replacement activation date following its postponement.
📉 With a major buyer nearing its accumulation cap and near-term catalysts fading, the research team believes ETH could continue underperforming BTC.
Major buyer nearing its stated cap, no new upgrade date. ETH is short on catalysts for now.
Great Milestone!
