We've been dedicating considerable effort to delve into facilitation, particularly in relation to building relationships and planning for implementation.
And, as always, the amazing @Haypsych has captured it perfectly with a captivating #SketchNote. Check it out!
A day to remember! Proud to be sharing this moment with my supervisor, peers, family and friends. It's really all about the community (and excellence in research 😉)! Congrats to all 2023 graduates!
And here they are @mcgillu Newly minted PhD @jackiedao_ and MSc grad @ConchitaS19! Was a such a proud day for me… well done…the world is your oyster! @McGillRehab @crirmtl

Back-to-back meetings drain our brains. We need downtime in between to recover.
New research: even 10-minute breaks between meetings are enough to reduce stress, improve focus, and boost engagement.
Instead of defaulting to 30/60min meetings, we should schedule 20/50min blocks.
Happy to share my 2nd PhD manuscript: Challenges and future directions in the measurement of evidence‐based practice: Qualitative analysis of umbrella review findings @aliki_thomas @LaurenMaggio @MarcoZaccagnin2 @KeikoShikako @jillyb3 + Dr. Annie Rochette onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…

Just published: Instruments purporting to measure risk of bias frequently include items that clearly don’t. Experts sometimes disagree about what is risk of bias and what is random error, and often what is RoB and what is applicability. doi.org/10.1016/j.jclinepi.2…
Stimulating discussions around how cultural contexts influence KT for health decision-making. Science cannot be separated from culture and beliefs/values. Must avoid epistemic injustice and be reflexive about our evidence generation and KT processes @WHO_Europe
You can not look at masks without thinking of the cultural meaning @trishgreenhalgh presents #WHO report @WHO
PhDid it! 🥳 Thank you @aliki_thomas @Nancy2Mayo @KeikoShikako +Annie Rochette. It has been an incredible honour and pleasure to learn from each and everyone of you. @McGillRehab

Had a blast working with @AtamanRebecca @aliki_thomas & A. Bussières on these capacity building capsules on end-of-grant KT for partners involved in research
Pour la Semaine nationale de l’accessibilité, le thème est “Inclusif dès le départ”. La recherche participative pour et avec les personnes en situation de handicap est une des façons d’avancer vers cet objectif. La série :

My second time attending #KTCan21 and blown away by the inspiring research being done to mobilize knowledge in complex health systems. Some highlights of the last 3 days:
Dr. France Légaré, @SDM_ULAVAL offered a thoughtful talk on shared decision-making inspired by @edgarmorinparis's 7 key complex lessons. Particularly appreciated this slide on how complexity is relative to where you work and exists at all levels of a health system.
Excellent panel on SGBA+ considerations in KT - great resources shared on integrating intersectionality at project conception to avoid researcher implicit biases and reinforcing systems of oppression knowledgetranslation.net/por…
