The world is on lockdown. The streets are empty. And a blind man, Andrea Bocelli, delivers hope to a wounded world. What better tune to sing than the former captain of slave ships - John Newton’s Amazing Grace. “I once was blind but now I see.” Double entendre. #MUSICFORHOPE

Happy 8th Anniversary, TBN Uganda! Here’s to the people behind our progress, and the possibilities ahead.
Africans are coming in to re-evangelize the West so they can return to Christian values such as biblical views on sexuality and differences over everyday life, like going to pubs, which some African Pentecostals consider incompatible with Christian life. cnn.com/2026/09/04/africa/af…
I summited Margherita in 2014, but I didn’t see the Rwenzoris quite like this. King Oyo’s crew captured a third party perspective that borders on spiritual. From horned chameleons and giant lobelias to moss-draped forests, I can’t recommend this otherworldly climb enough. #Uganda

What DADDY SEES when he gets up to shut the window. Inspired by @ssmusoke.
You notice someone actually ripped the window mesh, but no one told you.
You also notice the garden tap is dripping.
You go out to close it, only to find an abandoned shoe by the sand pit.
Then you realise that one of the security lights has blown too.
You make a mental note to fix it the next day.
You return to the house carrying the lone shoe and keep it safely until its owner comes looking for it the next day.
They will need it when it is time to go out and play.
And somewhere in that very ordinary chain of events is a parent's responsibility: the torn mesh, the running tap, the blown light, the missing shoe...waiting for somebody to notice.
And then Daddy sees and fixes it all.

King Oyo was a fine and unassuming young man who carried his great office with remarkable humility and grace. He supported our business and would occasionally come to our office with barely any escort, interacting freely with staff - without any airs about him. Enkuba etutire!
To think my phone has more computing power than all of NASA 57 years ago! It took 4000 IBM engineers to launch the #Apollo11 mission.
And did you know that the first food eaten on the moon was a communion wafer? Buzz Aldrin, an elder at his church, read scripture, giving thanks.
The French president running on our dusty streets in Nairobi this morning. How the tables have turned;-). #AfricaForward
We don’t do small, small @andykristian. We either go BIG or go home;-).
For context: Against $30bn in EBITDA, $20bn in dividend pay-outs is the equivalent of 32.5x that Safaricom shelled out in dividends for FY2025 (Kes 80bn). This is the kind of transformation Africa needs; local capital backing local opportunities, and sharing in the value created.
Happy 63rd, our beloved #Uganda! May God to continue to uphold us🇺🇬
Kuala Lumpur tonight: Good company. Good food. And the world’s second tallest building towering in the far distance🇲🇾
In Khayelitsha (“New Home” in the Xhosa language). With Africa opening up, many of them have their sights on scale. At the Transformational Business Network, we enable access to capital to empower these businesses to create much needed jobs. Home for us is where hope abounds.
Watching It’s A Wonderful Life. George Bailey, the protagonist, has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all.
This 1946 Frank Capra holiday classic answers that existential question, "What would life be like if I weren't here?"
25 years of unbridled joy - and it seems like it begun only yesterday! If God has not been good to Mona and I☺️🙌🏾
Crowning our year with the launch of the South African chapter of The Transformational Business Network (Africa). Our carts are overflowing with abundance!
