The tragedy of democracy is that people sometimes have to experience the consequences of their choices before they understand the value of what they had.
Civilization is easy to take for granted until you realize what it takes to defend it.
Australia wake the f**k up!!!
Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed gave his victory speech in Arabic last night. Rep. Ilhan Omar addressed her victory party in Somali.
And this morning, Iran's supreme leader posted that America's collapse "has accelerated."
What should we make of these acceptance speeches? @SulkinMaya
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Apart from his own name spoken idiomatically with Arabic pronunciation, Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed used four Arabic words in his victory speech, which represents 0.27% of the words he spoke.

We literally have Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood operatives saying on tape that the main reason they carried out the October 7 attack was that they knew it would lead to an Islamic takeover of the West.
They knew Israel would respond harshly and that many people would die. They wanted exactly that. Remember, they are a death cult.
They wanted people to die and Gaza to be destroyed so they could push a fake genocide narrative to turn people in the West against Israel, pave the way for Muslim politicians to get elected, and accelerate the Islamic takeover of the West.
Abdul El-Sayed and Zohran Mamdani, for example, would never have been elected had October 7 never happened. And the Muslim Brotherhood is celebrating as we speak.

Today’s RBA decision means interest rates have been jacked up a massive 125 basis points this year.
Labor is trying to blame the Middle East.
But no other advanced economy has raised rates by nearly as much.
The difference: Labor’s unchecked spending is fuelling inflation.
😂
This was @JEChalmers when the Reserve Bank of Australia lifted rates once in 2022.
How well has this aged @jamesmassola @paulsakkal
