Thank you Stockholm, Sweden for a sold out show with an amazing audience. It was great to share the stage w/ John Beasley, Magnus Lindgren, John Patitucci, Sean Jones, & Gregory Hutchinson, paying tribute to the great Miles Davis & John Coltrane. Hope to do it again soon. 🙏🏾

‘For Your Consideration’
I’m both excited and extremely nervous as I share this poster. I guess the feeling has not changed since 2020; a similar poster landed in my inbox but I lacked the courage to share. I come here, this time around, touched and driven deeply by the love that everyone poured during the making of this project and the significance of the work as a whole.
‘The Myth We Choose’ is on the first-round GRAMMY ballot and submitted for consideration by Recording Academy’s voting members.
I hope this work finds your hearts.

Please don’t be offended if you’re at a show and a musician that plays a wind or brass instrument doesn’t want to shake your hand. Just remember that he/she has to constantly touch his/her mouthpiece and is trying to stay healthy. 🙏🏾

The actors & writers are protesting/striking now… Should we, the musicians be doing the same?
