I will never understand the appeal of MGR lol. Bosses full of no hitstun that hop all over the place with a sluggish weighty combat feel. No real time weapon switch. defense options that you can mash with no timing. Animation cancels that trivializes offense/frame data.

Hindsight will make us realize that we were spoiled by this games DLC. They were not all winners... but they were all new. And this is my problem with a lot of modern fighting game DLC.

It’s been 8 years. Reply with your painful truth about this game and I’ll put the best ones into a video mine is that ultimate is probably the only modern fighting game where you can truly, truly outplay your opponent across all games and still lose a best of five set
