X is one of the most useful sites for connecting to real news and real people around the globe.
X is at the same time being used as the world's most useful vehicle for lying tyrants to deceive the gullible people of the world.
Both of these things are at the same time true.

I’ve followed @jkbjournalist for many years. I encourage everyone to do so. She is a fine journalist; honest, determined, insightful, courageous. Her work on the Jeffrey Epstein story has been vital and history-making. Congratulations on a well-deserved Pulitzer Prize, Julie.
I did not do the Jeffrey Epstein investigation alone. I had the support of @MiamiHerald —it’s then executive editor, Mindy Marques; and these two incredible journalists, investigations editor Casey Frank and visual journalist Emily Michot. Thank you to all the courageous victims who shared their stories with me, and to those on the Pulitzer Board who made this honor of a lifetime happen. #pulitzerprizes
In spite of our limitations & inadequacies, may we labor side by side with the Lord of the vineyard,
answering prayers,
providing comfort,
drying tears,
& strengthening feeble knees.
If we will do that, we will be the true disciples of Christ we are meant to be.

You are able to be a positive force in your environment. Your actions have an impact, like the skipping of a stone and the ripples on a pond. One life touches another life. Be a force for good and kindness. Bring your optimism and love to our weary world.

House Republicans knew their “One Big Ugly Bill” would rip away health care from millions of seniors, kids, American workers and people with disabilities. They voted for it, and praised it, anyway to give tax breaks to our billionaires and our trillionaire. Now, health care and health insurance are way more expensive for everyone.
Plutocracy and inequality make us poorer and sicker as a society.
