You can be like William Wilberforce and do both: preach the gospel and work to end slavery.
Why not do the same with pursuing a nation that promotes true religion: Christianity? Preach the gospel and work toward a government that submits to Christ.

Just heard from a friend who identified as gay for many years. Left that lifestyle five or six years ago and has been pursuing Christ with single-minded focus since then. Today, he told me he’s getting married to a BEAUTIFUL girl he met church.
Not every story of breaking those particular chains of sin will end this way. But transformation in Christ IS real and, contrary to what the world says, a change of affection IS possible. We need to start saying so.
