A man who STABBED his landlord to death was declared “not guilty by reason of insanity”… then Virginia authorities gave him a 48-hour free pass from a mental hospital.
A JUDGE said no.
Steve Descano and Virginia officials said YES anyway.
They even helped him get a passport.
Result?
He walked out… went straight to Dulles… and FLED THE COUNTRY to Tajikistan.
A violent, committed killer is now gone — and the people who let it happen still have their jobs.
This isn’t a mistake.
This is a complete betrayal of public safety.

Not a day goes by that Zohran Mamdani doesn’t post something hypocritical and insulting that exposes what a lying con artist he is. On Saturday Mamdani wrote “Happy Italian Heritage Month” and then praised communist sympathizer Vito Marcantonio’s vision of government. The same day Mamdani snubbed the Brooklyn Columbus Day Parade and never responded to the Queens one. Mamdani is the same man who posted a photo of himself giving the middle finger to a Christopher Columbus statue in 2020 and wrote “Take it down.”
As someone who’s half Italian, I find Mamdani’s pandering and his hypocrisy disgraceful and unbecoming of a NYC mayor. You don’t get to flip off a Columbus statue in Manhattan, call for it to come down, skip the parades that honor Italian heritage, and then turn around and claim you’re celebrating that heritage.
Italian Americans all over the country and in NYC have treated Columbus as a symbol of their place in this country for generations. Mamdani treated it as something to mock.
As for Mamdani praising Marcantonio, he did so because Marcantonio was a radical who aligned with communists. That’s the version of “Italian” Mamdani is willing to praise. The rest he ignores since it doesn’t fit his deranged ideas of governing. New Yorkers of Italian descent can see the difference. So can everyone else.
Mamdani is an insult to everything great in this country. He proves that every day. He’s already the worst mayor NYC has ever had and that will be his legacy. At this point there’s no saving his term and there’s only one good thing he can do to minimize the damage he’s caused: resign.

Catholic hospitals told to start euthanizing patients or get out of healthcare entirely.
129 of Canada’s 1,087 hospitals are Catholic. Most refuse MAiD, abortion, and sterilization on religious grounds.
The Globe and Mail says that refusal is now grounds for forcing them out.

When I moved to Maine, we had a lower crime rate, better-paying jobs, houses that regular people could actually afford, a solid healthcare system, schools that actually taught kids what they needed to know, way less social tension, and far less drama over assimilation.
And grooming? That simply meant having some soap and a comb.
That's why Mainers took pride in this state.
Then Democrats came along and pushed the idea that intersectionality and diversity were magic formulas that would somehow make everything better.
Look at where we are now.

By 2050, the world is forecast to face 43 million tons of decommissioned wind turbine blades.
These blades are built from high-strength composites made to survive years of weathering. Still, every single turbine standing today will age-out before 2050.
Most are difficult to recycle, so most are likely to be buried. But Europe now has a landfill ban for blades coming into force.
Nations like Germany, Finland and the Netherlands are already blocking landfills, but they still have blades to dispose of, so the waste is pushed elsewhere.
Blades are exported to countries where burial is still allowed, such as the UK.
Net Zero creates a mountain of composite waste, and then has the audacity to call itself "green."
