OKLAHOMIES! 😭😭😭🦋 WE JUST RAISED $32,000 IN 45 MINUTES ON HASAN PIKER'S STREAM! 🤯🔥
But let me tell y'all how this even happened, because I have to give a BIG shoutout to future State Senator Booker T Newton for State Senate District 32!
Today, I was in Southwest Oklahoma doing meet-and-greets with Booker, who is running for Oklahoma State Senate. He took the time to introduce me to folks in Altus, which isn't even in his district, simply because he wanted to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of!
He even helped arrange interviews for me tomorrow! Well, I had a livestream scheduled with Hasan Piker and needed somewhere quiet to do it. So I asked Booker if he had an office I could use.
He told me he didn't have one personally, BUT he knew somebody who could help! This man picked up his phone, called his brother-in-law in Lawton, and his brother-in-law graciously opened up his THERAPY OFFICE so I could do my interview!
And from that very office, WE RAISED $32,000 IN 45 MINUTES! 😭
ALL BECAUSE SOMEBODY WAS WILLING TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND HELP! Booker, THANK YOU! And please extend my gratitude to your brother-in-law for opening his doors to me!
This is what community looks like. This is what showing up for one another looks like. And this is why I love the people of Oklahoma!
And to @hasanthehun and EVERY SINGLE PERSON who donated tonight, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!
Y'all really showed OUT tonight! 😭💜🦋
ONWARD, OKLAHOMIES!
Some traditions mean more than words can explain. 🦋
This morning, I got to vote in Ardmore with my grandma, a lifelong voter who has always shown up and made her voice count. She paved the way for me and generations of Black voters, and getting to share this tradition with her means everything to me.
This is the third and final time she’ll vote for her granddaughter before I head to D.C. to fight for Oklahomans on the federal stage. I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
Our elders fought for the right to have a voice in this country. We honor that legacy by using it. Black voices matter. Black votes matter. And our communities deserve to be heard.
If you haven’t voted yet, make a plan and bring somebody with you. Let’s keep showing up for the generations before us and the generations coming after us.
Onward, OklaHOMIES! 🦋💜
EARLY VOTING STARTS TODAY OKLAHOMIES! 🎉
You know Grandma and I had to get up and get CIVICALLY ENGAGED! 🦋💙 It was fairly bittersweet to vote for myself for the last time in this election cycle, but I’m grateful!
I wore my Rainbow PUSH coalition shirt that was gifted to Team NJT from the Late Rev. Jesse Jackson’s son and grandson... who will ALSO we joining us tonight for the all in rally in Tulsa!
See y’all at the finish line!
Oklahoma, it’s time to WAKE UP and get involved! 🦋
Gerrymandering, political apathy, and a system that leaves too many of us feeling unheard. We can’t change the narrative if we keep getting left out of the conversation.
I’m running to bring Oklahomans back into the process and remind people that our voices, our communities, and our futures matter.
The time to get activated is NOW. Let’s make some noise, OKLAHOMIES Onward! 🦋💜

November 3rd. Let’s make history. 🦋
I don’t care how much you don’t like me, whether you voted for one of the other candidates in the primary, or whether you’re still upset about the outcome.
Hold me accountable when I’m elected. Question me. Challenge my decisions. Demand transparency. That’s exactly what public servants should expect from the people they represent.
But we also need to recognize that not voting, and voting third party candidates are different choices with different consequences. None of those choices, by itself, guarantees the outcome of the race against Kevin Hern. Whom we need to defeat.
We have serious issues facing Oklahoma, and those issues won’t disappear after Election Day. Whatever decision you make, understand what’s at stake, know who’s on your ballot, and exercise your right to vote.
Early voting begins October 28. Election Day is November 3. 🦋
Funny that I didn't get a photo added, although I was mentioned.
Because I've had more chin and bravery running for this seat than he has.
Remember that starting October 28th.
Tulsans held a town hall and invited Kevin Hern to it, where he ultimately left the seat empty. Vote for people who show up.
We're so tired of entitled, mediocre people who only show up when it's convenient for them.
Vote Thomas for U.S. Senate. 🦋

Had a great day in Stillwater for the Homecoming festivities with Payne County Dems, and then headed over to Tahlequah for the 2S Powwow! 🧡💙🪶
Being Chickasaw is one of my favorite things about being an Oklahoman.
People always wonder how I’m so resilient and how I manage to persevere through just about anything. But I always tell them that I come from people who endured things that many of us could never imagine.
My ancestors weathered the Trail of Tears. Indigenous people endured forced removal from their homelands, broken treaties, stolen land, family separation, attempts to erase their languages and cultures, boarding schools where children were punished for being who they were, and generations of discrimination and displacement.
And yet, our people are STILL HERE. Our cultures survived. Our traditions survived. Our languages survived. Our identities survived.
And that resilience didn’t happen by accident. It happened because generations before us refused to let their people, their stories, and their identities disappear.
I carry that history with me everywhere I go. Not just the suffering, but the strength, the love, the community, and the determination to keep going.
And as a Black and Chickasaw woman, I know that my existence is a reflection of generations of people who persevered through systems that were never designed for them to thrive.
So when people ask me where I get my resilience from, I don’t have to look very far. I come from people who survived and I intend to honor them by continuing to show up, speak up, and stand firm in who I am.
Today was a beautiful reminder of the culture, community, and history that make Oklahoma home. 🦋❤️
I saw the recent post from News On 6 stating that the DOJ is going to be heavily monitoring election boards in Oklahoma, and I want to say…
WE DO NOT CARE.
Because we are not the election deniers, and we are not the people who are prying for power… but to SERVE.
And if it weren’t about power trips, we wouldn’t even have to question whether DOJ monitoring could turn into election interference.
Their entitlement and fear are so loud and obnoxious that it’s not even funny anymore. Maybe if y’all had better people skills and better policies, y’all wouldn’t be so worried about losing to girls and good people.
Grasping for straws at its finest. Don’t be criminals. Actually show up and take care of your communities, and you wouldn’t have to worry about losing elections or being held accountable for wrongdoing.
Public office is not an entitlement, and the people do not owe you power.
GET OUT THERE AND VOTE! VOTE EARLY 10/28! Have the election y’all deserve. 🦋💙
Senator Jon Ossoff!
A few nights ago at the NCNW plenary in Georgia, I had the opportunity to share my story as a Black and Native woman from Ardmore, Oklahoma, running for the United States Senate.
I spoke about winning my primary and runoff despite being outraised 6 to 1, the legacy of women like Clara Luper, and what it means to potentially become Oklahoma’s first Black woman U.S. Senator.
They know about us, Oklahoma! Georgia is watching, and Oklahoma’s story is being heard beyond our state lines.
I came into this race believing that people like us deserve a seat at the table, and I’m building that table for us. 🦋💙
TULSA, WE’RE COMING!!! And we’re ALL IN TO VOTE!! 🔥🦋💙❤️

Working people deserve a living wage and healthcare they can actually afford.
At our rally in Greenwood, I talked about raising the federal minimum wage and fighting for Medicare for All. We didn’t get the change we needed here in Oklahoma, but that doesn’t mean we stop fighting for it on the federal level. I won’t hesitate to put my name on legislation that helps our people.
And while Kevin Hern isn’t the focus, I believe showing up for our communities should be the bare minimum. Oklahomans deserve leaders who listen, show up, and do the work.
The people of Oklahoma deserve better, and I’m willing to fight for all of us. 🦋
Let's talk about the proposed aluminum smelter in Inola, Oklahoma, in plain English.
President Trump has promoted building a massive aluminum smelter in Oklahoma because he says America shouldn't have to depend on Canada for aluminum.
Canada is one of our closest allies, yet Trump's tariffs have made trading aluminum with them more expensive. Meanwhile, the proposed $4 BILLION smelter in Inola involves a company from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a predominantly Muslim country.
And here's where the money comes in.
According to federal lobbying documents, Emirates Global Aluminium hired an American lobbying firm for $125,000 A MONTH…. A MONTH Y’ALL.
That's potentially $1.5 MILLION in one year just for lobbying and government relations.
Now, what is lobbying? It's when companies pay people to communicate with government officials and advocate for their business interests.
And guess whose name appears in the lobbying disclosures? Congressman Kevin Hern.
The documents report an in person contact with Hern on April 29, 2026, concerning infrastructure related meetings.
That doesn't prove Hern took money or made a secret deal. But it does raise questions about what was discussed and what role he played.
Meanwhile, the people of Inola are asking questions about pollution, their air quality, their environment, and what this massive industrial project could mean for their families.
The companies promise jobs and economic development. Residents want answers about the consequences.
And now let's talk about something else.
I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANOTHER WORD ABOUT MUSLIMS OR SHARIA LAW BEING USED TO SCARE AMERICANS WHILE THE SAME POLITICAL CONVERSATION WELCOMES BILLIONS IN INVESTMENT FROM A PREDOMINANTLY MUSLIM COUNTRY.
There's nothing inherently wrong with doing business with the UAE. Being Muslim isn't the problem, and foreign investment isn't automatically a problem.
The question is why religion gets used to frighten people in one conversation while being treated as irrelevant when billions of dollars are on the table.
And there's another question:
Why is a project being promoted as a national achievement while the people who actually live in Inola are still fighting to have their concerns heard?
I'll be discussing the documents in more detail in a video. And I’ll be following the money on his FEC filings and will report back.
For now, I want transparency about the lobbying, answers about the environmental risks, and meaningful public participation in decisions affecting Inola.
I STAND WITH INOLA.
