If Trump doesn't send me the $5k before election day, I'll be voting a straight Democratic ticket.
Pure hubris. No one attending this game decides to vote for Trump because of this. Some may vote against him for making security more of a hassle.
NEW: President Donald Trump has announced he will attend next Saturday’s Georgia-Alabama game.

Assuming Yankees close this out, why wouldn’t they just make Braves-Phillies at 7 and Cubs-Padres at 10 eastern if necessary?

Ossoff: Just about every week I dial up Georgia mayors and pastors and farmers to find out how I can help.
And one day, I called up Mayor Julie Smith, just up the road from Valdosta, in Tifton. Mayor Smith's a Republican, too. She told me the Tifton hospital needed new dialysis equipment. She explained how Tifton's dialysis center serves 12 south Georgia counties, and they just couldn't meet the need. So I delivered the funds to upgrade that south Georgia clinic, and now it can serve 200 dialysis patients. And Republican Mayor Julie Smith is backing this campaign too.
Up north in Toccoa, then-mayor Gail Fry, another Georgia Republican, told me Toccoa's gas lines were wearing out, and a leak could risk lives. We needed to get moving quick to replace miles of old pipes. So I delivered the funds for Toccoa's new gas lines, and Georgia Republican Gail Fry's backing this campaign too.
Because, see, hurricanes and diabetes and gas leaks don't check party affiliation when they hit. And when it comes to serving Georgia, I don’t either.
No, the criticism is that your recommendation was 1 day. A judge overruled you.
Ken Paxton: The criticism has been that I let a child predator out after one day. Well guess what? They served 60 days.

Paxton's Claim is misleading:
His office's original deal was to give Time Served + 1 day.
After a rebuking from Judge Roy Sparkman (“One day. Seriously? Somebody has to sell me on the wisdom of it,”) the deal was revised, and Hoffman was released after 29 days.

Will be interesting to see if Indiana is going to lose three games this year or if last night was just their 2023 Georgia almost losing to Mizzou game.

Between 2019 and 2023, a total of 2 trans athletes who were born male and wanted to compete as female petitioned the NC High School Athletic Association for permission. Let me repeat that . . . a grand total of 2.
There are roughly 4,600,000 in the 39 Western North Carolina counties included in the disaster declaration following Hurricane Helene that Michael Whatley failed as the Recovery Czar.
It you’re more concerned about 2 trans athletes than about 4,600,000 disaster victims then congratulations, you’re a Republican.

SLAMS Roy Cooper for failing North Carolina's children:
"Roy Cooper vetoed legislation to keep boys out of girls' sports and he vetoed legislation that would have stopped these terrible mutilating surgeries on kids."

Bottom line. In Texas, you only have until October 5th to confirm you are still registered to vote or submit a voter application.
Texas voters can check their registration status at VoteTexas.gov and contact their county elections office directly.
With 11 days until voter registration ends in Texas, election officials in counties across the state are scrambling to update voter rolls, a burdensome task during their busiest time of year. democracydocket.com/news-ale…
