Labour’s Budget documents include £150 million of taxpayers money to fund additional large sites to accommodate asylum seekers.
Yet it wasn’t mentioned in John Healey’s speech.
Why leave it out?
The British public deserve to know where their money is going and what the true cost of this policy will be.
While families struggle with bills, working people face a heavy tax burden and public services are under pressure, Labour is committing another £150 million to asylum accommodation.
People have had enough of being expected to pay more while immigration continues to place demands on the public purse.
If this spending is justified, why wasn’t it highlighted in the speech?
The British people deserve transparency, accountability and answers not important details buried in the Budget documents.
