🚨CHILD PREDATOR CAUGHT!! A man told the CPU tech to back up the pictures and the folder that opened had more than 7,300 files of child porn, some as young as toddlers. Detectives were waiting when he came back for the laptop. His name is Gary S. Johnson, Stevens Point, Portage County. July 31, 2025, he dropped the computer at a local repair shop because Wi-Fi died after an update. When the tech asked what to save before wiping Windows, Johnson said the pictures were all he cared about. The tech opened the photos folder. Extra-large thumbnails. Over 7,300 files of underage girls, some extremely young. He closed it, told Johnson to pick it up the next morning, and called Stevens Point police. Johnson walked back in expecting a fixed laptop. Cops were outside. On bodycam he called it a “hobby,” said he was collecting “the most beautiful girls in the world” for Getty, and asked if he could just take it home and delete the files. Possession is the felony. Delete does not erase the charge. The crime lab flagged hundreds of those files plus search history and sent the case to the DA. He was booked into Portage County Jail.
