The #ao3 stuff is complicated, to put in my own words I am going to summarize my thoughts clearly as I can. I know some people find my support of certain posts confusing. (I have posted on Ao3 in HS, I am too embarrassed but I have history) 1. Consent is ALWAYS important

If you’re American and didn’t do early voting, then you best be voting today. Do it. Look around you. If you ain’t like shitting the fan on the daily, then you go vote.

違う違う、新生エオルゼア発売の当時は海外版と同じ動きをしていたんだよ。 日本語版の今のこの動きは、後から修正（監修？）されたんだよ。

sorry the editing is a bit chopped, but like I need you guys to see the difference in how he's animated. Like throw out the text and just focus on the animation. I probably wouldn't have fallen for him as hard as I did if not for him acting the way that he does in the JP dub.

I’m genuinely tweaking rn Fanfic authors, please be aware there is a website 👉 ao3.life that is scraping fics from Ao3 and turning them into Ai audiobooks and selling them for profit They have an option to have your fics taken down but from what I’m seeing you have to provide personal info to “prove” the fanfics are yours to begin with (giving, phishing scam) and they claim they pay the authors, which is both untrue and ILLEGAL Nearly all my fanfics are on here I’m genuinely shaking I’m so pissed like what the FUCK is wrong with people 😭😭😭

Actually, do not delete your fics when the archive comes back on. Private them but don't take them off the site. Once deleted it becomes infinitely more difficult to prove authorship and thus more difficult to protect against scrapers, thieves, plagiarizers and the like

hi they're trying to make you hate fic writers so it stops being taboo to read ai fics

Re: my decision to delete my Google drives. This probably won't blow up as much as my original tweet did, but for the love of god, support ao3 authors. They do this for free. Don't be assholes #ao3outage #ao3

Happy to report that over on t*mblr and b*uesky people are exceedingly normal about all this btw 99.9% reasonable, nuanced takes that cover both “hey let’s not report fanfics to google for copyright issues bc that gets ugly quick” AND “hey let’s be respectful of writers’ wishes”
