Now would be a great time to release the unredacted Epstein files.

Elon Musk now needs to be held accountable for election interference.

If Elon Musk can waste $450M on Republican support, he can pay his fair share of taxes.
The βitβs mostly tied up in assetsβ fanboys seem to conveniently overlook how Musk can suddenly materialise $450M to throw at the republican campaign when it suits.
Democrats must be absolutely ruthless now.
No βhealing the nationβ. No βmoving onβ, no βreconciliationβ, no βbridging the gapsβ. No βif they go low, we go highβ. No Obamism.
Subpoena, impeach, prosecute, imprison. Trumpism is criminal & should be treated as such.

Elon is toast. Congress now has free rein to expose him as the traitor he is. He may be charged with high crimes; he may be pardoned. Three things he canβt escape: exposure, markets, and state-level charges. Congress should launch a lengthy investigation and curtail his ability to flee the country.
If a billionaire attacks a minority or flees a state to avoid paying taxes which will not financially impact them but will help the poor then yes, they are the bad guys.

it was always heading this way. the idea that a queer identity leads to unhappiness and can or should be discouraged is old-school homophobia of the exact kind that led to section 28, and has been the obvious goal of the TERF movement for over a decade now

If you're a gay or bi person who supports the "gender critical" movement, when they are saying that your sexuality is a possible phase, I would speak to your therapist about self-hatred and sociopathy. They're coming for gay rights, as we said they would, and you're helping them.
You have far more in common with migrants on dinghies and trans people trying to make it through the day than you do with billionaires blaming migrants and trans people as they guzzle unnecessarily expensive champagne on their super yachts.

Since Trumpβs election:
-Musk got $617 billion richer
-Bezos got $144 billion richer
-Page got $127 billion richer
-Dell got $123 billion richer
-Brin got $116 billion richer
How are you doing?
Letβs stop oligarchy. We must create an economy that works for all.

jk rowling donated Β£70,000 to the transphobic organisation that changed the equality act in the UK and made it so that bathrooms, hospital wards and sports clubs are increasingly hostile towards the trans community. this resulted in someone literally not being treated for cancer

J.K. Rowling could have accepted that trans people were entitled to criticise her, banked her billions, and carried on writing.
Instead, she turned that criticism into a cause, with trans people cast as the enemy.
Weβre supposed to read this as selfless devotion to women. To me, it looks like a billionaire using her enormous platform and resources to punish a minority that refused to applaud her opinions.
Supporting survivors deserves credit. It doesnβt make every political campaign you fund righteous, or every trans person who challenges you a threat to women.
Threats against her are indefensible. They also donβt turn criticism into persecution or make her critics collectively responsible.
βHero for women everywhereβ is quite the sales pitch. Apparently, the women who disagree with her donβt count.
From where Iβm standing, this looks less like courage and more like a grudge with a billionaireβs budget.
J.K. Rowling could have kept quiet, banked her billions and stayed everyone's favourite author.
She didn't.
She put her name, her reputation and her own money on the line for women.
She founded Beira's Place, a women-only centre in Edinburgh for survivors of sexual violence. She has funded legal fights to protect women's rights and women-only spaces. And she has given a voice to women who were too scared to speak.
For that she has faced years of death threats, rape threats and torture threats.
She hasn't flinched once.
That's not just a literary legend. That's a hero for women everywhere. ππ¬π§

Just weeks after Professor Jason Arday was hounded to his death, Reform UKβs branch in Oxford has invited the racist academic who led the campaign, Nathan Cofnas, to speak.
