This is the way to look at altcoins and memecoins now in my opinion due to the nature of the market 1) Altcoins: 99.9% of them are VC scams. You don't wanna get stuck holding the bag for years as it goes down only and likely never recovers to your entry. Have a stop loss and a take profit set. Take profits into BTC/SOL/USDT and move on 2) Memecoins: 99.9% of them are pump and dumps. Most of them have 1 pump and then it's over. A select few survive the first jeeting and then go on to new ATHs. Take profits into BTC/SOL/USDT and move on. Keep a moonbag if the project is solid. The attention span for these memes is like 15 minutes to 1 week absolute maximum at this stage The only coin worth holding long term is BTC and even it should be sold for USDT at market tops Barely anything goes on a giga run like in previous cycles. A 2x with size is a big win now, forget about most coins going 100x it ain't gonna happen. There are now way too many coins and liquidity is split too thin all over the place.
