This is a very special partnership. The first one with a @CyberiadLabs' grad. LindaGift Awo took the course in Cyberiad Labs' first class. Now she will bring it to her learners in Nigeria ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ via her non profits CodeCraft Forge and the 500 Digital Futures Initiative. Read more: cyberiadlabs.com/press-cyberโ€ฆ

Today we are very happy to announce our 10th @CyberiadLabs' Education Partner ๐Ÿฅณ Quite a milestone for us, after only a few weeks! More to come. Let's go! nitter.cf/CyberiadLabs/status/21โ€ฆ
Today we are very proud to announce our new partner @Ngao_Labs ๐Ÿฅณ โ€œโ€˜Ngaoโ€™ means โ€˜shieldโ€™ in Kiswahili. With AI, the best shield is a habit: check what it tells you before you trust it.โ€ - @YoussefCharifH2, co-founder at @CyberiadLabs

I met Ozioma @Magdiel_Amor in Lagos ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ, when he was a learner on the #ALX_SE ALX software engineering program I led, and we have stayed in touch ever since. Today he runs his own lab @jupytec, building software for schools and businesses and helping founders build companies. When his community needed good material on AI, he came to us. I am proud to help him in his mission with @CyberiadLabs. Seeing a former learner teach his own community is the best result I could ask for. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ™

Being different will be your only advantage in the future. Like it always has been, but even more so. People use AI more and more, but not the right way. They delegate their thinking and imagination to their AI. The result looks great. But all results look the same. And by doing so they lose their originality and imagination. Quick illustration I just added in the @CyberiadLabs course: "pick a random number between 1 and 10". In 2024, YouGov asked this question to 2,241 adults in Great Britain. A third said 7, but every number from 1 to 10 got some answers. In 2025, Springboards, a company that sells its own AI model, asked GPT-4o 100 times. It said 7 in 92 of them, and never said 1, 2, 5, 8, 9 or 10. We ran the same test today with Claude Opus 5.5, from Anthropic: we asked it the same question 100 times, each time in a new chat with nothing else in it, through Claude Code, Anthropic's tool for programmers. It was even worse: it said 7 all 100 times. This illustrates perfectly and simply the fact that AI will only push you to uniformity and if you use it blindly you will sound like everyone else, losing any advantage and losing your imagination in the process. Because picking a number is one thing. But now do it for everything: - write my pitchโ€จ- name my startupโ€จ- draft my strategyโ€จ- write my LinkedIn post - write my essay - โ€ฆ and youโ€™ll end up with the same pitch, name, strategy, post and essay as everyone else. Stay different. Use AI to superpower you, not replace you.

Today I have a special partnership to announce, with @DohouDaniel10's community @Algorithmia_SE. ๐Ÿฅณ Daniel has been a learner of mine now in two different programs: #ALX_SE at @alx_africa and Intro to AI and LLMs at @CyberiadLabs. Since then, he has become a leader both in terms of work but also in giving back to the community. I couldn't be more proud of him and I am so happy and excited to be supporting him with this partnership. Let's Go Daniel! Read more here: cyberiadlabs.com/press-cyberโ€ฆ

When the AI labs decide what software may exist, learning the art of code shall become an act of rebellion. For those who wish to build what they forbid, programming is liberty.

๐Ÿ“ข Very happy to announce that @CyberiadLabs is partnering with the African Association of Aeronautics Professionals. When people hear "AI course," they picture software engineers. Aviation shows how outdated that is: AI already predicts which aircraft part will fail, and it's being tested to tell controllers when a runway is clear. 2APA's founder, Yaninthe Tiomene, came through the ALX software engineering program I led. Today he works in aviation safety and unites Africa's aviation professionals. From November 2nd, 2APA's members will get free places in our AI courses. Read more: cyberiadlabs.com/press-2apa-โ€ฆ

๐Ÿ‘€ @Anthropicโ€™s Frontier Red Team believes small AI models may be only months away from being able to self-replicate, with no datacenter needed. "Conclusion: Signs of life The capabilities that make AI models generally powerful coding agents also generalize to cyber tasks, including autonomous replication. Like coding agents in 2024, weโ€™re seeing signs of life for AI worms. We donโ€™t yet have a full rogue replicator, but agents are becoming increasingly capable of completing the individual steps in the replication chain (and passing on their adaptations to future copies of themselves). At the same time, increasing amounts of inference compute are now available both inside and outside of datacenters (see Appendix D). Itโ€™s uncertain exactly what form autonomous AI replication will take. It could be a slow, distributed โ€œdigital slime mold,โ€ living on relatively insecure compute. It could also be a powerful cyber model that breaches datacenters at a high pace, or a model that scams people for compute credits. As a prediction that goes beyond our experiments, we expect a future awash with agents running on all types of hardware, including some that arenโ€™t under human control. While itโ€™s true that IoT devices have been vulnerable for a long time, lightweight agents may be much more willing than human attackers to put in the effort to compromise large fractions of the worldโ€™s IoT compute. The rise of slow replicators would also be a bellwether for more aggressive, faster ones that can breach more hardened machines or be effective API key thieves. We should aim to harden our systems to make it difficult for such replicators to spread, but also prepare to deal with a world where they are here to stay."
