Is Scroll shutting down, or is it changing direction? Scroll's October 29 DAO call discussed a proposed transition from a permissionless network to a permissioned, application-specific network focused on private AI, payments and verifiable rules. The plan also includes migrating SCR and USX to Ethereum mainnet. My take: this is a significant change, but calling it a shutdown right now would be jumping ahead. The detailed proposal still needs to go through governance review. There's another detail traders should understand: @xomarket's rules explicitly say a migration does NOT count as a shutdown. A network transition alone won't settle this market as a shutdown. Scroll is currently shown at 34.6% on the market listing I checked. That may move, so check the live odds. When I started creating educational content about Web3, one thing became clear to me: The technology can be powerful, but that doesn't mean people automatically understand it. I've spent time breaking down blockchain concepts, explaining projects and making technical ideas easier for people to follow. That experience taught me something I still believe in: Web3 needs more builders, but it also needs people who make what is being built easier to understand and access.
