If only @Keir_Starmer could regard the Palestinians as human beings, whom Declarations of Human Rights also defended, this would indeed be a speech worth celebrating

Here is the heart of the problem. It is not just the Israeli President who believes that all Palestinians in Gaza are guilty, as @CIJ_ICJ noted, many many Israelis agree with him, including much of the army and the security services, as we see in the clip below. Hence the shooting down of civilians with white flags, hence the mass murder of children, hence the snipers targeting surgeons at work and grannies in flight, hence the abduction and mass torture of ordinary civilian detainees. So Israel’s apologists on social media, in the @WhiteHouse , @UKParliament and in the cheerleading media from @WSJ to @nytimes to @thetimes can all waffle on forever about "the most moral army in the world" that "always obeys the rule of war" which "has the right to defend itself." This is pure bullshit: in reality in Gaza it is revenge open season on civilians, doctors, journalists and the elderly. In Gaza, in reality, the IDF does not recognise civilians as a valid category. In many cases they do not even recognise the Palestinians as human beings.
