ANINews - Why JD Barker is the Name on Every Thriller Fan's Lips
aninews.in/news/business/why…
"A phone call. A voice. And a mystery that won't let you go. JD Barker knows exactly how to throw you off guard. Just when you think you're starting to get it, another cliffhanger follows that turns everything upside down. Every answer raises new questions, and before you know it, you're reading just one more chapter… and another. Exciting, mysterious, and full of unexpected twists. Sometimes just a little too much, but stopping reading? Not an option. Because what if the very next page changes everything?"

"I can’t remember the last time I got so immersed in a thriller. I have read and enjoyed other books by J.D.Barker before, so I knew this wouldn’t be too far up my alley, but I wasn’t prepared for it to completely shut down everything around me every time I opened it. I saw, heard, smelled and felt every moment so vividly as if I’d been there myself. Classic “right book at the right time” for me."

Julie Revsin was 25 when she was killed in her West Philadelphia apartment in March 1980. Her case has never been solved.
Today my Substack carries a guest post from @jdbarker —also my launch day for my true crime book, The Jacklighter.✨

The post is from J.D. Barker's Who Killed Me? series, and it asks a simple question: is the knife still in an evidence box in Philadelphia, and why hasn't anyone tested it for DNA? Journalist Matthew Algeo has kept pushing for answers.
Tips: Philadelphia Police 215-686-TIPS (8477)

"Behind a Closed Door was a wildly entertaining and suspenseful ride! It started with a married couple attempting to spice things up through an app and then spiraled into a dangerous, murderous game!!! The fast-paced plot, dark twists, and tech-driven paranoia made it easy to finish quickly! It was so intense and overall a thrilling book!"

"If you have any fear of AI and smart devices destroying your life and society as a whole, this book will validate those fears 100%. I’m going to buy a car from the 80’s, get a flip phone, turn off the internet, and replace all my smart devices with ancient counterparts. We all think of our smart devices as being our phone or tablet or computer or AirPods, but what this book brought to light was that we have invisible, smart devices like our doorbell camera and our smart thermostat and our oven and our washer and dryer and our microwave. This book is really scary that this chaos and destruction is possible."
