This pandemic has shown me that...
Early adopters of bitcoin are NOT risk takers.
- They are good at identifying macro risks.
- They are extreme preppers.
- They are willing to hold hedges to protect themselves despite price volatility, uncertainty, or social acceptance.

Also my view, but ensuring that wealth can be equitably distributed is a human issue that I'm not confident we will solve. The MOST likely outcome is that a few governments or companies will control the overabundance of resources and ration it out to the rest of the sheep.

Real reason why people love AI.
Because it means Universal High Annual Income(AI)

Sometimes nature adjusts itself ahead of coming changes. Could technologically advanced societies rapid decline in birth rates be a predictor for future improvements in human lifespan and workforce automation?
Replying to @ianbremmer
Of course, this is only a predictor of future prosperity if AI and robotics mature slowly. If they mature quickly, countries with growing populations might find themselves with a surplus of labor, falling incomes, and boatloads of discontent.

Technology is neutral, but the people building and deploying it are not.
Most cryptotoken projects exist only to enrich their founders by fleecing "investors". We build Monero to safeguard people's freedom. That's the difference btw building a currency and just making money.

Miss u buddy. The world isn't the same without you.
GONE 4 YEARS AGO TODAY.💔 So many fond memories of @jakedienelt—time has made me miss him even more, not less. How much more fun would all of us have if Jako were still here?! RIP. Thinking of his family today 🙏😇@OmniCraig @CharlieShrem @BKBrianKelly @ALevyCohen @JonathanMohan
Tail emissions can be smart. If you aren't the flavor of the month with enough of a fee market to persistently incentivize miners, someone can use that window to attack the chain.
#Monero #Dogecoin #Ethereum are the only major coins that have it.

Apparently that matches the date when it reached its supply cap.
Having no mining subsidy and little transaction fees, it only costs about $400 to reorg a whole month worth of blocks.
I wonder how many confirmations require @hitbtc and @cz_binance for deposits.

Today we're submitting a comment in the OCC's ANPR on on National Bank and Federal Savings Association Digital Activities. In a nutshell, we say that banks should hold, multi-sig sign, run nodes, and deal in privacy-enhanced crypto. 1/6 coincenter.org/comments-to-t…

Homage to a pioneer and legend of CT and degen trading. RIP my friend.
RIP buddy. 😭😭😭
I'll miss you @ActualAdviceBTC
You left your footprints here with glory.
You were a legend & real cult figure in crypto.
It is amazing that we can talk about the dollar losing it's top status at all without sounding crazy.
The euro dollar demand will surely squeeze the USD higher as the last final hurrah.
It will go quickly from, I can't get it
To, I don't need or want it.
Faith that the printing press will keep running and print you some crispy new ones.

Right; the "full faith and credit" is mainly marketing; it's unclear what action the government would take if the FDIC itself failed for some reason.
