π @ the start of FB, feeling stuck in time and struggling to keep up in a world without π°. Keeping count of the months sinceπ°left , dreaming of π°, activating his powers at the thought of π°.
Only when the destined pair reunite can time restart and he can move forward again.
Vol. 49 is is obv about π°. Even ignoring the fact that he uses ε, we have a thematically matching poem about their reunion in the same arc.
This isn't even the first time π has wondered how weird that the world could move forward in π° absence. And this was at the start of the series when they weren't nearly as close as in FB. Thank you @emptysilkkk for reminding me of this page.
Someone on one of the IR discords said "I've forgotten more bleach lore than most of these fans have ever known" and I think about it all the time.
