I ask you to join me in prayer every day for Jerusalem and the nation of Israel.
“I come against the propaganda and lies that are designed to make Israel appear as the terrorist aggressor and the Palestinians as the victims! Lord God, let the world see the lie the media is perpetuating and reveal the truth of the promises You gave to Israel as her land of inheritance.”
Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speaks grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. Psalm 31:18

A Visible Change
That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. —John 20:19 NLT
Peter saw Jesus after His resurrection. He knew Jesus was alive, but on the Day of Pentecost, Peter discovered that he also was alive in Christ as never before.
This was more than a “filling” with the Holy Spirit and power…more than a spiritual “high” that made him resolve to live his life in a better way. Peter was changed! This same Peter went into the city later and saw a man begging. “Look on me,” he said.
Why did he draw attention to himself? What was there to see in Peter? He had been ashamed to show his face during Jesus’ trial by the Sanhedrin. Nothing had changed in Peter’s face or life, but man would now see Christ in Peter. The disciple had become Christ’s representative, fulfilling His mission and ministry on earth. What was so different? Nothing…except that Peter had been with Jesus and the life of Jesus now filled him.
Can people see that you have been with Jesus?
I ask you to join me in prayer every day for Jerusalem and the nation of Israel.
“Lord God, strengthen, settle ,and establish the Holy City and the Jewish people today. This sacred place is at the center of Your plans for our world. I come to Your throne today asking for Your mighty hand to work to defend Israel from those who would harm Your Chosen People.”
Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her. Ezekiel 5:5

Comfort Israel
“Comfort ye, comfort ye my people saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem.” Isaiah 40:1-2
The setting of Isaiah 40 follows the dispersion of the Jewish people to Babylon. The children of Israel had suffered through a terrible calamity. They were in need of comfort, of being assured their time of catastrophe was coming to an end. It was time for encouragement, for knowing that God had not forsaken them. Darkness had covered the land, but Israel had not been cast aside by Yahweh. The time for restoration was at hand; the time for comfort had come. The God of all comfort had declared it to be a time for consolation.
The prophetic word given by Isaiah was not just for that time, it is a God-given mandate to Christians today to offer comfort, encouragement, and emotional and financial support to the suffering House of Israel. If this Scripture is not for Christians, then for whom is it? Nation after nation has turned its back on the Jewish people. God will not forget those who abandon Israel, just as He will not forget those who reach out in love and assistance.

Just Like Us
And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. —Acts 2:2 ESV
Peter, the much-maligned disciple because of his betrayal of Christ, changed. He had started out just like us. He knew Jesus. He experienced the love of Jesus. He believed upon Jesus and named Him as the Messiah. He personally experienced some miracles such as when he walked on the water with Jesus.
Peter received the full forgiveness and grace of Jesus after Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to him. He was blessed by Jesus. He ate and had fellowship with Jesus. He was taught by Jesus, Who took a personal interest in him.
No matter what he did, Peter was still Peter. He was embarrassed that he couldn’t quite live up to the victorious Christian life. Peter felt like an outcast among the disciples because he had denied the Savior. He was embarrassed to show himself in the city where people knew who he was. But on the Day of Pentecost, something happened in Peter that was earth-shaking and life-changing.
That same change can happen in your life today if you surrender to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to daily direct your walk with Christ.
There is no greater need today than to support Israel with our daily prayers. I ask you to join me in prayer every day for Jerusalem and the nation of Israel.
“I come against the lie that has many Christians deceived into believing that God is finished with Israel and has no further plans for her. This “Replacement Theology” is from the pit of hell! The Body of Christ has not replaced Your position, purpose and plans for Israel (Romans 11:1-2). Open the blind eyes of those who have accepted this deception in their hearts and reveal to them Your everlasting purposes for Israel, in Jesus’ Name.”
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24

An Eternal Promise
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. —1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV
The first “temple” where God walked with man was the Garden of Eden. Later, the Israelites watched as the tabernacle in the wilderness rose from the sands of the Sinai. Sadly, the awesome buildings that were the Temples have vanished. Still, one Temple remains.
Where is that Temple? It is in the halls of heaven. The Scriptures are the only source of information about that Temple. Glimpses can be caught through studying the tabernacle and the Temples built in Jerusalem, which were but earthly reflections of the magnificence of heavenly grandeur. The book of Revelation does provide insight into a Temple in heaven, a throne upon which God sits, with the Lamb of God.
What a precious promise for you, the overcomer! After all the struggles and strife, all the hardship and heartaches, God promises eternal fellowship with Him! No more crying; no more dying. No more pain; no more stain of sin…just love—full and unfathomable—and communion with God, the Father, and the Son.
There is no greater need today than to support Israel with our daily prayers. I ask you to join me in prayer every day for Jerusalem and the nation of Israel.
“Lord, no power of earth can stand against You. Today I pray that You will display Your power on behalf of Your Chosen People. Deliver them from destruction and rain down Your righteous judgment on all who would come against Jerusalem.”
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. Zechariah 12:9
