He’s an apologist for Putin and the Russian invasion. It’s an embarrassment.
Q: Russia hit 6 energy sites yesterday. What evidence do you have-- TRUMP: Well, Ukraine hit many sites the day before

Anyone cares to venture a guess, why ruzzia is launching this many ordinary (not jet powered) drones suddenly after a long pause?

She was engaged to your son, raised money for your campaigns, spoke at your convention, and you nominated her for ambassador. But sure, Donald, practically a stranger.
Trump: Kimberly Guilfoyle was not a member of my family. I guess she dated my son a long time ago. I didn’t like what I read.

Trump’s ex-chief of staff John Kelly said this to me, six years ago: “I don't know how he’s not in an institution somewhere, whether it’s jail or a nuthouse. He’s a seriously sick guy. I never heard him saying anything that wasn’t a lie.” Trump has only gotten worse since.

The problem isn’t just Trump making deals with American adversary Russia, it’s Trump not thinking of Russia as an adversary at all because he only cares about what benefits him, not the country.
NEW: A half dozen GOP senators — Tillis, Collins, Armstrong, Murkowski, McConnell and Cornyn — sign onto a letter w/ Dems urging Trump to back out of his Russian oil deal. "This deal is a gift to our adversary and a betrayal of our Allies; it should be rescinded."

Breaking: Inflation rose faster than expected last month, with price pressures extending beyond gasoline, new data showed Wednesday. The latest Consumer Price Index showed that prices rose 0.6% from August, bringing the annual rate of inflation to 3.7%, up from 3.4%, according to new Bureau of Labor Statistics data. Economists were expecting CPI to increase 0.6% on a monthly basis and 3.6% annually. -@CNN

Zelensky asks Trump to sanction Russia for continued attacks on energy infrastructure
Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv. A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure – the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President. The strike was entirely deliberate and demonstrative in its scale – Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States. Russia does not consider the American President’s statements strong. Unfortunately, at least 600,000 people are now without power. Outages could become even more widespread. Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment – at 26 facilities of our power system and four facilities in the oil and gas sector. I am grateful to the repair crews, all Ukrainian energy workers, and the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for all their efforts to address the aftermath of this Russian strike. Tragically, there have been fatalities and injuries. We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond – and to respond forcefully. Russia has squandered the opportunity for de-escalation and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation. We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions on Russia, especially since the Lindsey Graham bill, which was recently passed and signed into law, authorizes and regulates such measures. The American President has all the effective and necessary tools to bring peace closer through strength, justice, and pressure on the aggressor. We ask for additional packages of Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. It is entirely fair for us to tell the United States, Europe, and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone to face such a deranged and pro-war actor as Russia. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine! Peace can only come through strength, and we ask America to remember this principle of Reagan’s. Glory to Ukraine!

Unconscionable if true. Need confirmation, as this would mean Musk essentially was directly responsible for deaths of Ukrainians. No laughing matter. Obviously a response from the company is required. Suspicions in Kyiv running high after US threats to withhold intel (which we apparently have not done, it is still flowing). This, though, is a twist. So an investigation is in order, need to get this right. Was starlink purposefully restricted? Was this at the request of the US side? Musk needs to respond to all of this. Congress and the media needs to demand answers. Gang of 8 should request a briefing from CIA and DoD asap.
Major new development with Trump/Musk apparently restricting use of Starlink above Ukraine.

President Trump two days ago: "We're bringing prices way down." Trump five days ago: "You know, we've already stopped the inflation." Trump nine days ago: "All your prices have been tumbling down." nitter.cf/byHeatherLong/status/2…
This is a rough September inflation report. -Biggest monthly jump since May -Higher than expected inflation AND core inflation -Core Inflation for the past 3 months is running at well over a 3% annualized pace...that's problematic -Inflation (3.7%) totally wiping out wage gains (3%) Yes, high gas and diesel prices are the major driver, but also big jumps in airfares, used car prices, recreation, medical and apparel. The energy shock is spreading.

How dangerous is it when private entrepreneurs make decisions that help determine matters of war and peace? We are seeing this right now in Ukraine: restrictions on Starlink by Musk’s SpaceX are disrupting Ukrainian drone operations. Without warning. While Russia is attacking. People are dying—because that is how Musk wants it. When critical infrastructure becomes a matter of private power over life and death, we need democratic oversight rather than the arbitrary whims of a CEO.
Is it time to nationalize Starlink? No CEO should have the power to make strategic wartime decisions like this that could cost our allies their lives. No matter how many hundreds of millions he donated to the President.

Russian media is now in a 24/7 state of ridiculing Trump for being stupid enough to fall for Putin's fake diesel deal that served only to con Trump into blocking Ukraine's strikes on the Russian oil industry. A simple act of Russia's long-famous practice of reflexive control - getting your opponent to do the thing that hurts them. No different than Brexit or electing Trump twice.
