I sang Bruckner’s Christus Factus Est at school in the 1970s & have never forgotten the thrill of being in amongst those intense harmonies. I fear not many schools would attempt it now. Lovely to hear it again thank you @BBCRadio3 @KateMolleson
@PetrocTrelawny Just turned the volume up on In Tune to savour fully Christus Factus Est. 🙏🏻
Why isn’t @BBCRadio3 even mentioning this? Now all those irritating Proms trails have finished, you must have space?!
Thoroughly enjoyed Earlier with Jools Holland on @bbcradio3 this morning, especially the feature with Robert Tucker about Restoration House. I found this article online and looked at the photos while listening to the music. bibleofbritishtaste.com/rest…
#ROHMacMillan Such a privilege to see this trio of ballets, so very different from one another yet clearly by the same choreographer. A superb evening enhanced by the additional interviews and VT (more than adequate compensation for not being there in person!).
#ROHMacMillan Relishing this opportunity in Inverness to see these three ballets for the first time.
Delighted to hear the whole Capriol Suite on Breakfast this morning 🙏🏻 @PetrocTrelawny @BBCRadio3
Replying to @PetrocTrelawny @BBCRadio3
I remember dancing a vigorous Branle to this, astonished that Warlock’s serene Pieds en l’air theme had started out as this lively frolic.

Anyone on Scotland’s north coast enjoying this morning’s guitar selections on @BBCRadio3 would do well to come in out of the weather and enjoy this treat! Durness Village Hall IV27 4QA
If this is vandalism, it’s pointless and sickening. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-ty…
@PetrocTrelawny @BBCRadio3 This story is worthy of a mention on #3Breakfast for the sheer professionalism of all involved. Staggering! bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-do…
@PetrocTrelawny @BBCRadio3 More kannel please! Loved the piece you played today. I’d never previously heard of it but have now downloaded Anna-Liisa Eller’s album & found her on YouTube. youtu.be/0UvHRS5lM8o
Recently finished listening to Len Deighton’s Bernard Samson trilogy of trilogies read by @LaileyJames & Mick Herron’s Bad Actors read by Sean Barrett. Narration of the highest order; truly rare and to be treasured.
So much to enjoy as I catch up on the bits of #3Breakfast @BBCRadio3 I missed earlier. Learning of litui which were new to me. Really appreciated @KateMolleson ‘s Scottish coastal weather forecast circuit - an effective way of gathering in her more remote audience.

21 June can be glorious here, but not this year. There’s a handsome headland and Orkney out there somewhere. Luckily, your Solstice selection has brightened this driech morn!
Loved hearing Shearing on #3Breakfast this morning, thank you. Could you find a slot sometime for a track from his album Blues Alley Jazz with the bassist Brian Torff? @PetrocTrelawny @BBCRadio3
Appreciation for championing Louis Couperin preludes from a long term fan. @BBCRadio3
Lovely to hear the Scriabin. Only time I've heard this live was in the mid 1970s when a talented girl learned it at short notice for a concert at my sister's school: she was meant to be playing a concerto movement with the orchestra but had broken her right arm. @PetrocTrelawny
Oh! The Slow Train! My favourite F&S mini masterpiece. Thank you @PetrocTrelawny @BBCRadio3
